Welcome to our journey as a family, who have no biological relation to each other, but who seek to follow God's will together.

Finally A Ball Player!

I played softball most of life before kids, and name my dog (Javie) after a baseball player and watched all the Braves games of the 90s.  So I was so excited to have boys who might like to play someday.  The older two were less than trilled with the game, and neither showed what I would call "their thing".  But then there is Little Stray, I finally talked him into trying it on a team.  I would usually get "no mommy I just play with you at home".  It would kill me, the boy has an arm, he can throw a long way with accuracy.  So I was so trilled when he finally said yes, I may or may not have bribed him.

What a smile, I told you, you would like it.

He makes a baseball loving mommy proud.  He hits well, he fields well, his throws are awesome and he pays attention in the field.  I have yet to see him sitting in the dirt playing or doing ballerina moves on the field, as I have seen others doing, who may or may not have had the same last name as himself, Cough,, cough.

SIX!!!

Image
Now Little Stay is SIX!! Not sure where the years are going, but here we are six years old. Going to kindergarten, reading Dr. Seuss books, playing baseball and soccer, had a fun birthday in Raleigh with aunt sitter, riding the carousel, and paddle boats and train, what fun.  Then a fun family dinner, and cupcakes at school and a great friend party with lots of food and fun, how great it is to be six.  So proud of you Little Stray what a great boy you are, we love you!!
