Spelling Bee update

Image We arrived at the district spelling bee very early, as you can see. Evan was only a little bit nervous. Nevertheless, as the auditorium filled the butterflies moved with more excitement!

ImageWaiting was very difficult.

Image
After 2.5 hours of spelling words in three rounds of 72 students grades 4-8 Evan's last word (round 3) was "analgesia".
An extremely full bladder, empty stomach and no sight in end caused his
brain to exchange the "g" for a relieving "j".
That one "slip" earned him a potty break, pie at Marie Calendars and not more spelling.
Not only did he do a wonderful job of spelling but he also did a terrific job reasoning!

We are very proud of our 4th grade academic!!

Our b-day boy is 3!

FUN at the Factory

Image Each of the kiddos got to design their very own cars. We had a firetruck, caterpillar, police car, futuristic car, and a turtle.
THANKS JIM!

Image We had a great time at "The Happy Factory".
ImageYes, I am proficient at messing these up.
