And this is pretty random but I have never made Lobster and I was so scared to but we got them on sale and we decided to go for it. Surprisingly it actually turned out pretty well. I was pretty proud of myself (those of you who know how easy lobster is to make don't judge) Anyway here it is! ( nick liked it and that is good enough for me!)

Buddies

Image
So Tater and Nana were quite the pair. This week Mom and Ed came to visit. Mom and I took Tawnee down to BYU-Idaho for her 1st semester of college. So weird how fast time goes by. When Mom and I got back home she and Ed stayed with Nick and I for the rest of the week! They were both so fun to have around. Taylor would wake up every morning and go downstairs looking for Nana. She would run to my mom and sit with her and have breakfast with Nana. Now that mom is back home in WA Tater comes downstairs looking for Nana and is so confused when nobody is there...it is actually pretty sad but I think we will live. Mom and Ed watched Tater while Nick and I went to the big water park here in town and we had a blast. We usually take tater to the kiddy pool so Nick and I can't go on the fun stuff so this was a really fun date. They also watched Taylor while we went out one night. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings and we had some spicy wings. It was really fun because I love LOVE football and so we got to relax watch football and have a fun meal. I don't know how to word this really but when it is just Nick and me it is easier to see the reason I fell in love with this guy. (meaning when tater is around I don't get to focus on him and we don't really get to be grown ups as much so it was really refreshing to have some time to ourselves).........SO THANKS MOM AND ED!!!!

Tater bug!

Image This is sick but what can you do....doggie kisses! They do love each other!

Image The cutest sad face I have ever seen!

Image And this is my bashful baby! (yeah right she is not bashful! FAKER)

Meal time is everything BUT clean. Messy messy messy. Taylor has discovered her love for peanut butter. I put it on celery mix cereal in it and she goes to town! She LOVES it but she gets it EVERYWHERE! If you can see it in this picture I took a close up on the one below where she has Kix stuck in her hair with peanut butter as the "glue". I watched her do it and she thought she was so cool then she reached up and grabbed one to eat it. Whole new meaning to the phrase "saving for later". Silly girl!

ImageWhat a goofball! Life just wouldn't be the same with out her!

Mind your Manners!!

So this is our sweet baby showing off...well not really. We have tried to teach her some manners because rude kids and people DRIVE ME CRAZY so I am starting young to have sweetie pies! This is her asking "please" and then "more please" and "thank you". Just the normal manners. She has gotten really good at them and I love that I think she is understanding what they mean! She is such a smart little fart! She keeps doing new things EVERYDAY!

MMMMMWAH

So aside from giving a "hi 5" , throwing and kicking balls around and playing in the dirt, we have taught her some "girly" things, this is my favorite...blowing kisses! The sound effect is the best!

AMEN

So we have been trying to get Taylor to understand the concept of "prayer"...this is what we have gotten so far. She can close her eyes and fold her arms. Most of the time it is one or the other but when she does them together it makes me SO HAPPY! I hope that we can teach her the REALLY important things like this so that she can have a happy and meaningful life!
