Still alive

Nick is a big Boston Celtics fan, for those of you who don't know, and since I have known Nick he has been an avid Basketball viewer. So it comes at no surprise that with all the basketball watching that happens in our home I am now a HUGE fan and love to watch and follow certain teams. (weird for those of you who know me... I think we watched Nascar more than basketball growing up) ANYWAY, the NBA finals are going on right now and we are following Boston. It has been really fun since Taylor kind of knows some of the players and I know a lot of them and Nick has taught me a lot about different positions and what stats are good, stuff like that so now when I watch I know what I am watching and it isn't a bunch of guys sprinting up and down a court. Tonight they were in game 7 of a series against the 76'ers and they WON!!! (thank goodness! now Nick will wont be a grump :)

We sported our Celtics gear (I know graham has a football on his but the colors are right)

Do you get much cuter than this?? (the answer is, I think not)

Had to share.

So the other day I was face-timing with the most awesome baby sister ever and Taylor was randomly, in the background, showing off for her and midway through the conversation I looked out and showed Terin this and we both got a good laugh out of it. Taylor is having a personal picnic under that umbrella. Totally cute. Gosh, I love this girl!  (oops I mean goodness. If you come around Taylor you had better stop the GOSH or she will getcha. She started saying GOD instead of GOSH so we put a stop to it but now she is the GOSH Nazi and she rips you a good one for saying it.)

Happy Birthday to me

I have been out of it for a while, what with everything going on and we are on like the third circulation of some sort of illness in our house. (I hate being sick thank goodness I haven't been yet just the family) I just managed to have my house sorta picked up yesterday and it only took me 12 hours to do it, sigh.  Well first of all here is an update. Kids are doing GREAT. Taylor is so fun and she is a great big sister and loves Graham almost to a fault (because she smothers him with hugs and kisses). She is doing great in dance. I love to watch her, it is pretty hilarious. Her teacher is pretty amazing because she is so patient. I would have had a meltdown by now with those girls. I am also getting ready for summer school (well not school but kind of) What I want to do is have a theme for every week of summer (animals, space, health, etc.) and every week we do activities relating to the subject. I think it will be fun so we are looking forward to that. Graham is back to a decent schedule where I can get some sleep which is OH SO WONDERFUL. He is Gaining weight like CRAZY and probably weighs upwards of 17lbs. I have been slipping him tastes of rice cereal and oh boy does he get mad when I don't give him more (what a pork)

It is Taylor's drawing of Toothless the dragon. LOVE IT. She is getting great at drawing. She is also getting a pretty funny sense of humor. She is mimicking nick now, calling things "snoop" "boo yah grandma" "that's Nathsty". She also LOVES playing Zelda with daddy and dancing wii just dance with mommy. Yesterday she and I danced a bunch (I need to record it for you mom) I also go and play volleyball sometimes with ladies in our stake and we all take kids and let them play while we play and so Taylor really likes volleyball. She and I played yesterday (with a balloon) but I had her serve and we have to bump it and not just hit it and she did really good and she loved it. She is so fun.

He has the best laugh. I feel bad I haven't recorded him enough. Last night I was tickling him and he was giving me some pretty good laughs. He is so sweet and loves to be cuddled. He is definitely more high maintenance than Taylor was.

That is a #10 can almost FULL of peaches. We went through and thinned our fruit trees. We probably had about 100 peaches per tree (at least) the day after our peaches that we left on the tree doubled in size. It was pretty cool. It took us FOREVER to pick these.

MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

For those of you who don't know I have an AWESOME husband. I have been freaking out about this Birthday for some reason. (25 is just weird to me) So Nick went ABOVE AND BEYOND. The week of my birthday I got my hair done, teeth whitening ( like with the light, it was cool), mani pedi, massage and wax, breakfast in bed (Nick got up at 5:30 and went and got McDonalds, which we love, and brought to me in bed) if that wasn't enough (or too much) I was surprised with the picture below. Nick Stayed home from work and decorated the house and had a bunch of presents for me. So my list of presents include and NORTH FACE coat and fleece ( I have wanted one for a long while) 2 new pants, a bunch of shirts and dress, shoes. Then we went to pizza (yum) and then we were headed home but nick went to the mall and surprised me with a buckle gift card for some pants and a gap card for some more clothes. HOLY SPOILED right?!!??!?!?  So first of all having him home was so great, I love spending time with him, he is my best friend and I am so happy that we like to be around each other all the time. ( at least I like being around him.) Secondly it was great how he surprised me. I am pretty hard to surprise. I had kind of thought that he might take the day off but he covered his tracks pretty well. To end the day Nick surprised me with TUCANOS chocolate cake, MMMMM.  Seriously, if I weren't me and I was reading this I would be so jealous. Thanks Honey you did an AMAZING job and I am so grateful. I love you so much and you made my day so special.

(we turned around and Taylor had a handful of cake before we could cut her a piece)
Image

and ben and jerry came to celebrate too!
Image

Nick randomly brought home  a coconut and Taylor was SUPER excited. She couldn't put it down.

Image
It was a pretty fun thing to have.
Image

It is weird to think that he is only 2 months old. He is so much bigger than I remember a 2 month old being. I feel like he should be sitting and rolling over but I have to remind myself that he is still a "new" baby. Even though he isn't walking yet (ha) He is so strong and loves to stand so we put him in the bouncer already and he is in heaven. Yes he bounces.
Image

Love this, LOVE it!
Image
Really I could just sit and watch this little guy.
Image

silly, not so attractive, picture but look at those eyes.
Image

Kids make life worth living. Seriously, they make life so  SO much better.
Image

Anyone see the resemblance of my mom in Taylor? Am I crazy that I totally see it?? Duh she looks like Nick but I totally see some Nana, Jana.

Taylor, I just love her. She did this all on her own.
Image
How awesome right?

Double Rainbow

Nick gave a great lesson on Prayer and he taught that we need to remember to fold our arms like a pretzel and gave a cool history on where the word pretzel came from. Great job and we LOVED these. Thank you pintrest for this awesome easy recipe.

all smiles

Spring has sprung

Image

Our weather is nuts. One day it is pushing 90 and the next is is 50 and rainy. MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!! Well we are taking advantage of all the nice days we can. I love our backyard because Taylor has so many things play on and keep busy and she loves it out there. Above is her best pal carson. They live just behind us and Taylor and Car play all of the time. Taylor is helping Car on the swings because he hasn't quite figured out the art of swinging. Don't worry Taylor was there to give him a push.
Image

Early B-day (due to the weather and the fact that I can't wait) hmm what could it be?
Image

Yippidy do dah!! A Tramp. Taylor has wanted one FOREVER and practically lives on that thing now. Thanks Nana and Pete  and Daddy for an Awesome Bday gift for Taylor and THANKS uncle Michael for helping put it up so fast.
Image

Seriously I think these guys were more excited than Taylor.
Image

This is the newest of Taylor's many art pieces. The little mermaid. Can you see it? Try crossing or eyes first or starting out really close and moving away slowly.

Image

And yes, Taylor is officially a ballerina. We started Dance last week and it was BEYOND entertaining. I LOVED it, especially the part where I had to keep from rolling on the floor watching taylor try to master 1st position. Honestly there were several times where I was almost embarrassed because I was laughing so hysterically. Taylor LOVED it and she did a great job. She has a recital soon and I can't wait.

My babies 1st boo boos.

Image

Stupid shots. I hate that they need them but better save than sorry. He screamed so loud for them. More than I remember Taylor crying. They also weighed and measured him and gave us his percentiles. Well when they weighed him she had to go and input it into the computer and when she entered his weight the computer had a pop-up screen that read "system error, invalid weight" and the Dr. told us that it is because he weighs too much for his age and we were all laughing. She said he is the size of a 6 month old but that he looks VERY HEALTHY. He is about 16lbs, so big he doesn't have a percentile (hence the nick name Tank) and 24in long ( only the 85th percentile) and he has a normal sized head. This boy does love to eat, what a boy.
Image
Image

And just like Taylor, Graham LOVES to be outside. we got this swing for him a while back so I got it out to give it a try and he LOVES it. Did I mention that I LOVE my kids?!?! They love to be outside exploring and playing in the dirt (well taylor likes that).
Image

surprisingly good picture right, well Taylor took it. I couldn't believe it. how sweet.

Still here....

Image

This poor blog that I so often neglect. We have so many things going on I thought it was about time I update this old thing. So The picture above is Nicks 30th Birthday party. It was a small little get together with friends. I wish I could have made a bigger deal out of it but oh well it was fun nonetheless.
Image
So Taylor is IN LOVE, with her baby brother, almost TOO much at times. She is always Kissing and hugging him. It almost drives me crazy but then I think of why she is all over him and it is because she loves him soooooooooo much. Here in this picture I couldn't help but sigh... So Taylor is on the couch playing Zelda with daddy (a wii game about a guy who fights goblins and tries to save the princess) and Graham is in a flower swing with a My Little Pony. Oh sheesh!  What is the world coming to?
Image

Big sister. It has been fun seeing these two. I just never thought I could love anything/anyone as much as I love Taylor. It is a new experience and I love my sweet babies!
Image

Tank, the smiley boy.
Image

I told you she was all over him!
Image

First shower, yup I am raising a couple of fish. He loves water in his face. In fact he laughs when I was his hair and it rolls down his face. Taylor was the same way, must run in the family since both Nick's family and mine are swimmers and LOVE the water. Hopefully Taylor will take after her Aunts on both sides.
Image

The leprechauns came and left Taylor some coins all over the house.
Image

And some Rainbow Candy and a green shirt. That silly little guy went through our kitchen and looked in at all of our cupboards and left little treats in some of them.
Image
Image

Their first bath together. Taylor thought it was pretty cool.
Image

He LOVES laying on his belly.
Image
Image
Image

Taylor likes the Moto more than Nick. She gets so excited when Nick takes her on rides. She gets mad when he goes slow (thank you honey) and always tells him to go FASTER!
Image

Just hanging out.
Image

Hair, yup it is getting thicker and really CURLY! I can't believe how curly her hair is. In this picture I tried something different, so I straightened it. Oh fun
