The Lord's House
Nick was able to spend the day with us on Monday so we had a Family Home Evening all day long. It was so fun and we love it when he gets to spend time with us, we are pretty crazy about dad in this house! So we got to go to the Boise temple open house. Last Summer they closed the temple and totally renovated it. It is very different, I lost my way a few times. It is beautiful. It was so fun being able to take our family through. Taylor LOVED the bride room and said "Do I get to go there when I get married?" and I almost started crying. When we went into the sealing room she was so impressed with the gorgeous crystal chandelier later that night told me that she loves me more than all the rainbow crystals like in the temple.
Under the Sea!!
I was pretty skeptical of the Idaho Aquarium, I mean come on, we aren't even close to the ocean and it's Idaho. Well we went and it was surprisingly fun. It is very hands on, small but was great. I guess they are just getting started and it isn't the nicest of aquariums, I mean come on I am used to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, so this was like nothing but we had a great time and it was pretty fun.
This is the fish touching pool. I have never seen something like this, you really just stick your hands in and touch the fish. If you see the sign behind Nick it identifies each fish and next to one of the fish is a sign that says I BITE so Taylor was pretty paranoid about that little guy. It was kind of funny because Nick wanted that fish to come close so he could touch it and it was sort of playing with him (swimming fast back and forth towards him) and when Taylor saw it coming she grabbed Nick's had and pulled it out and screamed "DADDY WATCH OUT!!!"
Taylor touched every shark, the hammer head, black tips and the brown and white spotted.
Oh and we got to feed them. That was pretty fun.

Come listen to a prophet's voice...or not
ABCs
Taylor's first day of preschool was September 4th. She LOVES learning and friends and was so excited to start preschool. Her teacher is AMAZING and she has a great class of kids.
