Happy New Year

This Christmas of 2007 reminds me of the poem,"There was an old woman who lived in a shoe, she had so many children she didn't know what to do." With 6 of our 7 children here with spouses and grandchildren, our little beach home was filled to the brim. We shared a Christmas morning that was filled with a living room full of presents, squeals, smiles, hugs, thank yous, and wall to wall wrapping paper. In spite of the moments of chaos, we are so grateful for the blessings of knowing we are an eternal family and that we all love each other. We did miss Ginger and her family and are happy they had a memorable Christmas in Japan. We tried to take a picture of all of us so here it is. Baby Evan, Shawn's 7 month old son was napping so missed it. We wish you all a Happy New Year.

Toe Jams

My foot has been wrapped up for two weeks and started itching and I couldn't stand it so I unwrapped it......here it is wire, stiches and all. Cleaned it all up with alcohol and it feels much better.

Vegas Baby....

If anyone asks Mom how her Kahuku HS reunion (40th) was in Vegas she usually sums it up with one word, FANTASTIC.
This is the only picture we took because it was the only time we were together to watch The Phantom of the Opera. Mom played with her friends non-stop while I layed by the pool, read, slept, shopped, saw friends, shopped and read some more!
Uncle Jamie and his dogs were the cutest things ever. They are the cutest couple we could have stayed for hours listening to their stories.
On the way home we were surrounded by 3 or more fires. More pictures to come in the week when Mom gets a cd of pictures from the weekend.

LABOR DAY!!

Me and Burt went to Rockpoint Reservior on Labor Day. We got the day off and it was so nice. Our mutual friend has a brand new fishing boat that is amazing. We didn't do any fishing but that's ok. The weather and water were amazing... AND I got up on my 3rd try, WORD! Burt and I went tubing and I managed to hold on longer than him but maybe that had to do with me elbowing him in the face?? :)
