It's the most depresing time of the year . . .

Not to be a downer, but really. It's still cold and the novelty of winter precipitation has worn off. There are no holidays to look forward to except the low pressure Valentine's Day. With that being said, we don't have that much going on, so here is a look into our every day life.

Many wonder, how does one grocery shop in NYC? With amazing restaurants on every corner, most don't. But we prevail. We make a monthly trip down to Costco in Brooklyn. It takes 45 min to an hour and two transfers on the subway, but you can't beat the yogurt prices! It is also a couples bonding time. I would have posted a video of us carrying our grocery cart up and down the stairs, but didn't want to risk injury to us or our food. So here is Isaac with our cart on the train . . .

Image Crossing the street . . .
Image With all the time we spend on the train, we often run into some real characters. One day, an older gentleman (aka homeless guy) pulled out a "crime investigation kit" and sketched Isaac. After he finished he gave it to Isaac, never once saying a word. Isaac felt like it was a gross misrepresentation, especially of the amount of hair.
