We went in for our 20 week ultrasound last Tuesday and even though my mom couldn't see what made it a boy, the doctor assured us that it was indeed a boy! So there you have it. To celebrate, Isaac went to the M&M store and bought a large bag in appropriate colors to celebrate. It was a lot of fun sharing the news with family, but I must admit, my two year old nephew wins for the best line.
He and my brother called to congratulate us on the baby. Jordan wanted to know immediately when I could bring Cousin Carter over to play. I tried to explain to Jordan that Carter was not here yet and that he was still in my tummy. Being a true Spencer, Jordan responded "Why did you eat Cousin Carter?" My only response was to tell him to ask his daddy where babies came from, where upon Luke immediately said "That's just for older boys!" What a wimp.
