That’s right… she’s crawling now! Ashley started “lurching” forward in early March, but then just as she was turning 6 months old, she put it all together and just like that, we’ve now got a crawler on our hands! Soon after came the standing up (while holding on to something), and of course there is also lots of cute “babbling” and other things going on! She is so fun! Also during the past couple months, she has started getting her first teeth in; she now has six: four on top and two on bottom. Here’s an assortment of cute photos from the past two months..
… And the “Baby Tour” finished up as wonderfully as it began! We didn’t have time to post any more photos during the trip, so here’s a mere sampling of the hundreds of photos we took of the Cutest Baby In The World, together with more of her friends and family… (Click on photos to see larger versions.)

The Return Trip… And Home At Last!
It was a great trip, and we sure did enjoy introducing Ashley to everyone!
The “Baby Tour” Continues! We’ve been in San Diego visiting Carole’s family for the past two weeks, and we’ve been having a blast. Ashley continues to travel super-well and sleep through the night. What a great baby we’ve been blessed with!

Happy New Year! We’re starting off 2008 with a bang – a trip to take Ashley to the USA so she can meet her family and many new friends!
We left on December 28 to begin this two month furlough, and we’re pleased to report that Ashley did GREAT during two very long flights. She’s such a good-natured baby! Here’s a photo of her in the Brussels airport…
Our first stop is Sugar Land, TX, where the good folks at the First Colony church have been very excited to meet Ashley. (Several people said they were glad to see Shane, too.) Here she is playing cards with the Wrights…
(Ashley helps Dana with his “strategery”)
We’ll sign off with one more pic, where Ashley is thinking, “They sure have some weird hats here in Amerca… What a strange place!”
Stay tuned for more to come on the next episode of “Baby Furlough!”…
On October 28, we took Ashley to Mbarara Church of Christ, and all our Ugandan friends were VERY excited to meet her. After church, so many people came up to see her and congratulate us. There was literally a spirit of celebration and joy present from the moment we walked in with her. During the worship service, we were asked to come to the front of the church, where the whole church prayed over us and our baby. It was such a special moment… We didn’t have our camera at the church, but we did take a few photos when we got back home:
