I had a vision and was excited when I was able to make it a reality - croquet in one of the wide open spaces on the property!!  Fantastic BBQ afterwards that helped bring the weekend to a close.

And for the Heathers fans - "Did you have a brain tumor for breakfast? First you ask if you can be red, knowing that I'm always red."

Weekend Boom!

Tequila boom....a "logical" choice when NO driving will be involved for the rest of the weekend!  Side note - holey moley, I drank tequila again!!

It's so nice to just sit and be....too soon to head up to the other lake though.

Signs From Above?

View as I headed up the mountain Friday...it was good to see the light since a bunch of the hiking trails are closed due to a 60 acre brush fire.

The City So Nice....

They named it twice! Yeah, it's dirty and angry but the energy is infectious! 

I took my mom in for a show last week and we did a "Hey, life is short, let's eat in Rockefeller Center" lunch.

We saw the Rockettes Spring Spectacular....Oh the costumes, the sets, the dogs, the music, the precision, the epic love letter to NYC - it was incredible!!! 

Plus seeing the Rockettes iconic kick line on stage at Radio City Music Hall doing their thing to "New York, New York" brought us all to our feet.  

I had a moment when the "tour guide" on our stage trip through the city went to the top of the Empire State Building and was greeted by a vision of his deceased wife.....he started singing "Just the Way You Look Tonight" and then danced with her.  Cue the waterworks....it was just lovely.

Shut Up & Dance!

Yup, this is mind set for the weekend...
