I took the long way home and watched fireworks in one of the more historic cities in our country.  We watched from a parking garage due to the rain - the ones in NJ first and then the Philly ones right in front of us!

We did get to explore the city a bit but the focus was the Song & Dance Festival.  I got back to my Customer Service roots and was one of the Information Booth supervisors. Incredible opportunity to talk to SO many people from around the globe!!

Dance!

The feeling of pride was incredible - we were all sobbing.  We made a mutual friend's American buddies link arms and sing with us at the end.  They joked that they felt like a part of a cult.....
