today is really damn fun and slack. we had national day celebrations in the morning. the most delighting part of it is the colours award that i had gotten, but frankly, it's no big deal. after the parade, we gathered around the grandstand area and watched the programme. it was magnificent. this year, we have some beat-boxing, wushu performance and the most interesting part- PDS. it was just too cool to see all these fancy drills. haha.
at around 10 plus we had speech day. shan't elaborate the whole event but i think the velidictorian -Joshua Goh- owns. his speech was fluent, humorous at times, yet formal in overall. the quotes he used was inspiring. i wonder why such a talent would want to go CJC when he can get into RJC or HCJC. maybe, he just wants to go CJC to help spread the gospel of God. that's really awesome. i think i should really salute him. (:
after the speech day, i went to cineleisure to watch movies with jasmine, kian hwee, tianruo and clayton. but the disappointing thing is that the movie 'MUMMY' sucks. not say that it isn't nice, but i find the ending rather too sudden. aww wasted. and yes, i haven't watch the 'Dark Knight'! damn, no time already. i think i should just pang it. anyway, i saw quite a few people today - xifan, valentina, minying and derrick. cool. i haven't been catching up with some of them man. but, i guess o's more important, so mugging comes first. (:
two more weeks to Prelim 3!
