Training schedule
Your project lead will work closely with you to create a focused training schedule that covers the core topics, from system administration, key modules such as circulation and cataloguing, to the specialist functionality you have opted for. The schedule takes into consideration the needs of your team to juggle day-to-day work and availability alongside a new system implementation.
Your trainer
Your trainer will always be closely involved in the implementation project itself, often doubling-up as your project lead. This means they will have in-depth knowledge of your data migration, the configuration options you have chosen and the key objectives for your project. Your trainer will share all training materials with you including slide sets, training checklists and links to relevant external resources available for your reference.
Delivery
Your core training programme will be delivered on your training system and using a set of your own test data, adding context to the topics being demonstrated.
Training is delivered online, but we can arrange on-site training if your team prefers.
Depending on the size of your team, we can facilitate a programme of cascade training to be delivered by library staff to the rest of your team.

Training for existing customers
We all know that teams and staff change over time, to assist your library with this we offer top-up training for full modules / topics or bespoke training packages. The agenda for bespoke sessions are agreed with your trainer and customer contact to ensure that your training needs are met. Reach out to your Account Manager today if you would like to discuss training options.
We also run training webinars on selected topics throughout the year, such as our popular SQL skills webinars.

As our solutions are open source, there is a wealth of information and training resources available that can be accessed by anyone. Some examples are:
