Yeah! Travel Time!

I know I haven't been updating this blog for long long time.
Just a moment ago, I've this urge to express my happy thought here.
3 more working days, I'll be wonderfully off for 2 weeks.
I'll be off to Australia with hubby. We'll go to Melbourne, then Sydney, hop to Brisbane and final stop will be Gold Coast. Oh OZ, we're coming pretty soon!

Bad Day

It's a lazy, tiring working Monday. My antibody is low now. I'm feeling weak. I started to have sore throat, a little fever & stomach upset. Bad day it is.

My body is going against my will to do other stuffs. So, i can only lie down on bed dropping few lines here. To sleep now, i afraid waking up middle in the night sleepless. But!, my eyelids are getting heavier. I'd better get off. Wish me well by tomorrow.

Singapore Flyer

I had a ride of Singapore Flyer during my last trip to Singapore on 29 Jun. It's a big ferris wheel of 165m from the ground, located at Marina Bay. The ride took about 30 minutes and I was told it cost SGD30 per pax. I did not buy the ticket, so i didn't know about the price, until i found out from the official website, the ticket for an adult is SGD29.50 per pax.

Honestly, I may not go up on this ride, if it's not an activity of a wedding couple that I knew. They paid for all their guests to go up on the ride.

The great thing about this flyer is you can have 360 degree magnificent views of the whole island of Singapore.

As the name reflecting on it, flyer ~ so, before you go into the capsule, you have to go through screening processes like at airport before you enter departure hall. You won't feel the movement at all as the capsule moves really slow. If you are acrophobia, be afraid not, there're benches provided, so you won't have to stand with legs trembling.

Ribbon embroidery

To proof that i don't lie, that i really do do embroidery, let's see my work?

This is what i want to do... that's the plan.

This is part of what i've done. It's 90% complete. Still at embroidery hoop. The fabric is shandong silk. Ribbon is silk ribbon. You gotta buy them somewhere out of Kuching, like Singapore, or perhaps KL. I bought at Golden Dragon, at People's Park centre, Singapore.

1 metre cost S$0.60. This is still reasonable. I came across a friend who told me, hand-dyed silk ribbon from KL cost RM20 for 3 metres. Maybe it's hand-dyed that made it more costly. What i bought is none hand-dyed.

So, that's it. Still a lot of space for improvement. This is for ring pillow. Will show the outcome if got chance. :-)

Lost of Needle?

I do stitching & embroideries during my leisure time. Losing needles is very common to me as I don't have proper place to store them and always causing me trouble to look up and down for the tiny thing.

During my last trip to Singapore, I found this very useful thing ... it's useful & handy for those who always lost needles like me ... Apart from that, you can bring them wherever you want. It's a "needle holder". Not sure the origin idea is from where, but the one i had is from Japan. It cost me S$16.50. Mom said it's expensive! Yet, i still bought it. :p

Inner side ... It has magnet behind the red velvet layer. That's the concept. So easy.

To Continue Or Not?

After missing for so long, I'm wondering should i continue to blog? Or should i not?

I was telling REDSPONGE lots of reasons for not blogging. I was then wondering, were they really reasons or just merely my excuses? In fact, everytime when i do read posts from blogs, they do trigger me to continue. But I think maybe I'm just being too lazy.

Short post for now. Hope I can come out with more. :-)

Starbucks Coffee @ Kuching Airport

Been to starbucks on national day. It's quite a small place.

I went there not because I wanted to go there 'pak toh'. But, I was waiting my flight flying to Bintulu. And AirAsia never failed to make people wait for another hour to fly.

I had a cup of hot chocolate. And, it's very very sweet.

Got cakes, but din taste any.

Dead! Dead! Dead!

The tooth is dead!

Finally, I gained enough courage to step into dental clinic AGAIN to attend the very particular tooth. The very particular tooth, which was treated years back, very much willing to give me some more pain. After several visits to several dentists, none said got problem. It's well-filled tooth. No problem.

The umcomfortable pain forced me to dentist. :( Anyhow, also need to ask dentist to grill inside & take a look. Decided to go for root treatment instead of extracting it, altho it cost quite a lot. It's really burning a hole in my purse.

When dentist started to grill.... "aww aww aww..." Dr dentist stopped and gave me injection!

Dr dentist continued his grilling... again "aww aww aww..." Another injection to make it numb.

I never afraid as much as this time when visit dentist. Probably I already imagine how the sourly pain like. I really hate the sourly pain. It's so unbearable. Well, nobody would like it anyway.

Dr dentist said, 2 out of 3 nerves were very very dead! only 1 is alive, which caused me the deadly pain.

Finally the pain is over. Next visit will be more relax. =)
