Sai's first official Football season.
Sai had an opportunity to practice with the football team in Nebraska, and he loved it. Well this year with moving to a new town, they offered football in Middle school. So, we signed him up. He enjoyed the season overall. Manti Templars. They went to the championships and won the finals! Very exciting. I asked Sai what he like most about living here and one of his responses was, that he enjoyed seeing the temple everyday at practice and home games. The Manti high school looks right up at the Manti LDS temple, thus the name Manti Templars. It is a beautiful sight. Sai did a great job playing defense on the line.

Our Move in 2014
Wow, it's been way too long since I've been on here. I had to search for our blog. In the past year we moved from a cute little town in Nebraska, to a nice country town in the suburbs of Ogden, Utah, had a baby, and now have bought our first house in another pretty rural town- Ephraim, Utah. Paki got a job at Snow College as the Multi Cultural Advisor and is really liking everything about his job. We have wonderful neighbors and are close by the Manti temple. We love it here already.
It's an old Pioneer home, very charming and some updates that need to be improved, but we like it and also really like the back yard- it's huge. I am looking forward to spring with much anticipation and nervousness about building our first garden. I've admired so many friends that have gardens, and have read books about building up gardens, but with renting for so long, we've only had the chance to plant tomatoes in a planter. So we'll see what happens. We also have some a small orchard of about 6 apple trees that we'll need to prune next year- so exciting. Apple trees are just what our children need since they eat us out of house with any apples I bring home.
So there it is in a nutshell. More updates coming soon.

Welcome baby Eli- our newest addition to the Moe Family!
Our baby boy- Eli was born on Sept. 2- Labor day of all days! 5 children- wow. We are so happy to have four boys and a little girl. We feel very blessed to have our little ones.
Another big event that recently happened; in August, we moved out from Nebraska to Utah. We are living in the Ogden area, not too far from family. Our pursuit is football coaching for Paki.
What a wonderful year this has been so far.

Fall Happenings
Elisa is beginning to cruise!
Matai was a transformer, Taima was the imperial storm trooper, and Sai was a knight.
These two little things were found in our trash can one day. I was unloading Elisa from the car in our driveway when Taima says mom, there are there is opposom in our trash can. What! I really thought he was playing a joke because we had just finished talking about possoms on the ride home from school. He seemed pretty serious and was really wanting me to look. So I came over and was completely shocked- Taima was not only right but there were two possoms in our trash can, and bearing there teeth. They did not like the disturbance from there naps. I called over to my neighbor that is originally from these areas, that she may know what to do. She said to call the police and that they would handle it. So I called the police and they came with an exterminator. The Exterminator slipped the possoms into a cage where they played dead for a minute. It was kind of funny to watch.
Clothes Line
This summer our dryer went out on us and so while we waited, we reverted to the clothes line in the backyard. Our family found it very refreshing to do something different. For the first few weeks the boys were facinated with the idea that the clothes could be dried differently than in a machine. It was actually a very peaceful labor. I enjoyed the many moments of hanging the clothes on the line and pondering the beauties of all that Heavenly Father has given us on this earth. And then cold-fall air began to sweep down from the north and I was so grateful that our dryer was fixed. Maybe again next summer.
Elisa's 6 mo. old photo shoot with mom in September 2012
Elisa is growing so fast. We have loved having a little girl in the family. She smiles so much and has added a lot of cuteness to our family. She also has a lot of cute faces that say a lot. She is just starting the crawling movements!
Football Season has begun!
This year we decided we would let Sai play football. And then when we found out that the games were on Sunday, Sai immediately said, "Well, I can't play on Sundays- oh, well." I then said, well, what if you were able to practice with the team- would that be alright? In the end, he agreed that playing football even if it was just to practice with the team was worth something more than nothing. One of Sai's friends and from church also did the same thing, so they didn't feel so left out when they were both at church and not at the games. I told Sai that blessings will come at some point because of the good choice he made to keep the Sabbath Day Holy. Way to go Sai!
