This is one of my favorite pictures from our time in Japan. A few years ago I was obsessed with finding a Geisha! Well I finally found two! I quickly put Gabriela in front of them and made them take a picture with her! I can't wait to get it printed and frames.

Arashiyama

Yesterday Gabriela and I took the train to Arashyima. I love getting out just the two of us. Our first stop was monkey mountain! It took us about 20 mins to hike up the mountain. Gabriela did great and spotted a monkey on our way. I was a little scared because we didn't see any people on our way up. I felt like something could jump out of the trees at any time! 

When we reached the top there was monkeys everywhere. You could buy food to feed them. Gabriela bought five bags of food to feed the monkeys. After two hours she was not ready to go! She has a love for animals like no other. We walked to the bamboo forest. It was really pretty, but Gabriela preferred the monkeys!

Xander

Xander started waking! He is all over the place. Lately, he has been climbing the couch! When he gets in trouble he just laughs it off!

Spa Day

Today Gabriela and I had a spa day. We went to the 100 yen store to get all of our supplies. She was so excited and beaming on our walk to the store. I looked down at her and realized how precious these moments are. Someday she will not be holding my hand squealing with excitement. I love my sweet girl and treasure our special moments.

Gabriela is 6

Gabriela is 6! We celebrated her birthday before we left with a few if her friends. Yesterday I surprised her in the morning singing Happy Birthday and decorated her room. Nichy was out if town but came home that night with a cake! Today they are both at Universal Studios. I decided to stay home so it could be a day just about her. 

I have really noticed big changes with Gabriela. She is getting so big! Her favorite things are singing, playing soccer, wrestling, playing my little ponies, climbing trees, putting on makeup, and climbing in the dirt for worms! She is still so girly but not afraid to get dirty:)
