Gabriela and I are back in Argentina. We arrived Thursday and Greg and Nichy picked us up at the airport. Greg has been here all week and had to leave today. I was so thankful Gabriela and I got a few days with him here. We all had a blast and ate a lot of Asado! Greg's favorite was Chorizo. He is doing great and his spirit still amazes me. He lost his hair while he was in Panama, so Nichy shaved it all off here. Today we said goodbye and told him we would see him this summer. I was sad but Nichy looked at me and said "we will see him again!"
Greg came straight from Panama to Argentina and had gifts from Gabriela's Abuelos! It cracks me up. Nichy's Dad sends crackers and cookies from Panama, I think he doesn't realizes we can get them here! Gabriela saw all of her friends the last couple days and is starting to speak Spanish again. Although, her English is much more conversational. March 1st pre-school starts here and I think she will be ready. Lately I have been doing lessons with her and home and she loves them.
We are trying to get in a routine and get use to the slow life style. I was ready to leave the U.S. and we really missed Nichy! It is funny to me how I barely had time to cook there and today Gabriela and I made our own breadcrumbs to put in the meatloaf!!
