Halloween

We stayed here this Halloween and kept up the trick-or-treating tradition with the Meltons. Last year we were so happy to high-tell it to CA since they had a huge rain storm, but this year we enjoyed beautiful, warm weather. The Saturday before Halloween Spanish Fork puts on this really fun trick or treating at all the businesses on Main St. It is a huge deal and I'd say the at least half the town goes. We thought we would attempt it this year, fight the crowds and get some extra candy. We had a great time and the kids loved being able to dress up in costumes a few extra times this year. I will say though that the kids were ready to be done walking by the time we finished.

Zoe is getting ready to head out to Rexburg, Idaho for school starting in January at BYUI so we decided to head up there in October and find her a place to live and tour the campus a little bit, and meet with a counselor, basically get her all squared away. We stopped in Twin Falls on the way, and hoped to go to the zoo and tour the temple grounds. We also walked along the greenbelt which was beautiful, but for some reason we didn't take any photos of the temple or the greenbelt. We did however take these photos at the zoo, that wasn't open...We could believe how pretty this place was. The trip was a huge success and everyone had a really great time. We stayed at a hotel that had an indoor swimming pool because I remembered doing that when I was a kid and thinking it was the greatest thing ever. Rexburg is a really nice little town and Zoe is really excited to be living there. It is also awesome that the temple is right next door to the university and just around the corner from where Zoe will be living. The temple there is amazing.

I just had to add these few photos. Sleep overs are Mallorie and Julia's favorite thing to do with Zoe. They always watch a movie and do some sort of activity. This particular night they put on silly faces. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did...

I promised I would update my blog since it has been a really long time, and since I figured I was doing it I would start with some older pictures and just get them all in there. This is at Zoe's graduation. They hold it at UVU. She looked beautiful! tthe graduation was short and sweet as all graduations should be. Zoe's mom, grandma and grandpa and aunts came up for the special occasion.

Busy Weekend

We had a crazy week, and a super crazy weekend. On Friday we didn't have school so Julia took her first riding lesson. I will have to take some pictures on her next one. We are waiting for the weather to get a little better so they can ride outdoors. She loved riding and cant wait to do it each week. Dance is finally over, and we watched Julia at her recital this weekend. The title of her dance was "imagine Dancing Through a Lolli-pop Forest. She did a fantastic job but she said she got those tingle things in her stomach before she went on the stage. This weekend was also Mallorie's birthday. We went to a huge rock show at the fair grounds because Julia is completely in awe of rocks. She thought she had died and gone to heaven, and took her rocks for show-and-tell today. After the rock show and the recital we had stake conference so we left the kids with Rick and Sandy to go Celebrate Mallorie's birthday and we went to conference. Here are some photos of Julia in her dance costume and some pictures of Mallorie partying it up!

Holly Comes to Visit

I know I have been so terrible about updating my blog. I feel like I have nothing to ever blog about, but this week I have some new photos and I thought it would be a good time. Holly was here for a few days and we had a blast. We ate lots of good food, and laughed a bunch. What more do you need in a weekend?
