2025/26 Season

Julian Perkins, Artistic Director

We’re thrilled to unveil a season filled with discovery, joy, and deep musical roots. Dubbed Grounds for Optimism, this season will use the ground bass as a grounding root system to guide us on our musical journey. We start the season off with a special summer performance of Bach’s Lost Passion, follow it up with an All Ages Concert designed for curious young ears and their grownups, and delight your senses with Hidden Women of Rome, a research-led project shining light on overlooked voices of the past.

Join PBO for world-class, historically inspired performances. One of the nation’s oldest period orchestras, PBO is known for intimate concerts full of artistry, playfulness, and spontaneity.
