We hiked (with 25% of our body weight on our backs) up 3,000ft of elevation and 9km each way to Garibaldi Alpine lake and camped for a couple nights. It is a stunning location. It was warm during the day, we cooled off in the glacial lake. And there was still some snow in our camp site, we had to walk on snow to get to the outhouse. We all took a plunge in that water, it was cold, but also so refreshing!! It was an amazing family trip. Girls entertained us by singing all of Hamilton.
