If you follow this blog, you all know the car. I’ve lowered the price temporarily to 10.5k. I am just trying to unload it before winter hits hard. If it doesn’t sell, I will most likely either keep it and use it for the next drift season or it will be back up for sale come spring time at a higher price. Shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] if your interested or have any questions. I will gladly answer them.

My new setup finally came in! So now I am just patiently waiting for snow to try it out!
Sierra Stunt 147 and mismatch Burton Customs, and of course I had to add some sticker love

Alex over at Circuit Soul sent me over some stickers. Super quality and super awesome designs. One thing I have to say about them is, these guys get it. Like they really get it. They really understand the scene, the cars, and most importantly the people. If you haven’t heard of them, check out their Facebook until their real site launches. You may have seen some of their stickers being rocked on some very familiar cars **cough** RWB **cough**.

Yesterday, Josh met up with some of the young guns early in the morning for some day light sliding. It may be cold but that hasn’t stopped Josh from taking his heatless car out to have some fun. Mike is a new kid, young, and seriously up and coming. He has progressed so much just this past year and to make it even better, he owns my old miata, the very car I started out in. Since I’ve sold it, its been passed around through several hands and I am very happy to see it still alive and kicking.
With the season coming to a close, I havent been updating anywhere near as much as usual, everyone is putting their cars away, and its time for the snowboards to come out.
Check out this video that Tim put together of TF Dave’s TRA Kyoto LS1 coupe. Beat by 3L. Tim also informed me that he is working on some other videos with footage from throughout the year so expect some sweet Chicago street footie to be released soon!
I’ve been on an S2000 kick lately and generally I’m not too big of a fan of aggressive S2000’s. I usually prefer simple oem body, front lip, GT wing. But I cant help but stare at Evasive’s S2000 that they are preparing to beat their previous Buttonwillow record with. Some new changes include titanium straight pipe, neon TC105n’s, new Voltex Race lip/splitter, and now the Voltex type 7 wing is chassis mounted. Car is HARD! and is really pushing the limit and showing us what a relatively stock motor s2000 can really do!

Check out this video of Maxrev driving it at Super Lap Battle. Not only is the car fast, Maxrev is a GODLY driver, a beast behind the wheel.
So I ended up missing out on Drift Day for a last minute trip to Socal. My mom was getting knee reconstructive surgery and she needed someone to help bring her to and from the hospital, help her out around the house, and run errands for her. So I was kept pretty busy but any chance I got I went out to meet up with old friends to hang out and eat! All I had was my cellphone so enjoy my photodump of pictures.

Possibly up for sale is my black 1999 Mazda Miata. 63,XXX miles. Clean title in hand. The car is a purpose built, turn-key drift car. Yes, the car is driven hard. But it is well-maintained to take whatever you throw at it. The car is 100% reliable and ready for you to drive up to a drift event, drift all day, and drive home without a problem.
This Miata is a drift/track car and has a few dings and scratches. The car has been garaged its whole life as well and has never seen winter. The interior is completely gutted except for the essentials.
I am very meticulous especially when it comes to fluid changes. I change the engine oil right before every event, the transmission fluid every 3 events, and the differential fluid every 2 events (if not sooner). The only time this car gets driven is to and from drift events and the occasional weekend drive. Fluids have all been changed beginning of this month (October 2011) and the car has just gotten a 4-wheel alignment.
The car produces over 240whp/210wtq. The car is not built for overall horsepower but built for response, reliability, and balance. The suspension, brakes, power all work in harmony together to provide an overall awesome driving experience.
CONS: The interior is gutted and has no AC (has heat though), airbags, and soft-top. The car has a check engine light (always has since the car got turbo’ed many years ago) probably due to 02 sensor since there is no catalytic converter. The car has very minimal ground clearance but I guess that is a PRO to other people like myself but it is on coilovers so you can easily raise it up.
MEDIA: Check out these videos of the car in action!
