Family Date

We went out for dinner as a fam on Friday night and had some mexicana food and some ice cream afterwards. We are working on more of these fun outings - enjoy the couple of pics we took that night. It was too crazy to take pictures at the restaurant :)

6th Anni-V!

We made it! It was a couple of weeks ago now - but we made it to our 6th anniversary. Jill has wanted to go out to Boondocks down in Draper for quite a while now. So we planned together to do some dinner and visit the fun filled little park. What she didn't know about was the videographer hiding in the photobooth when we arrived. My buddy Spencer came along and filmed the whole thing for our very own date video - pretty cool eh? Well the video will come later but here are some pics of the night.

Bear Lake '09

It came and went so fast - especially for us Pickett's who only made it late on Friday night and had to leave early in the afternoon on Saturday. We have missed the tradition and hope to make it up to Bear Lake '10 earlier in the week to spend more time with the fam. SO - due to the fact that we were only there for but a brief moment; here are but a few pictures we'd like to share, enjoy!

Texting While Driving

My own guilty pleasure that Jill so often reminds me isn't a smart idea. Well this video has really helped Jill's words sink in. This should not be shown with little kids present and is as they say in the article, shockingly graphic, but if you do text while driving you should consider watching it. I know its a risky move posting a link to such a video - I hope that it can help change some minds out there and raise awareness that it really can be extremely dangerous. Also sleeping while driving is not good.

We all got to take a little afternoon swim together. This is one of our favorite things to do!
This is a little video of Sam and Eli watching Baby Einstein together. Dad was watching them and couldn't take the craziness so he put them in the pack and play and turned on the video - here is what ensued.
