Meeting with the MP

Wah never knew there would be so many pple wanting to "meet" the MP to voice out their concern. The meeting start at 7pm. We reached at 730pm... thinking we will be late and MP will be gone. Woo.... tell you frankly, I was so excited. It's like more kan cheong than getting married. hahaha...

There was a huge crowd when we were there. Family with kids, elderly folks even young NS boys. We waited paitiently for our turn. Our names were called when it's about 830pm. The 1st round was with an interviewer. He helped us by understanding our concern. Mainly to help get my maternity benefits and to appeal to sell our flat off before the mature timeline.

He helped us draft the letters and send it off to the MP's office. It's about 9pm by the time he finished the 2 letters. Next, we need to wait for our turn to see the MP... wah this is so exciting..

From NLT

The New Living Translation
1 Peter 2 Read This Chapter
2:21
This suffering is all part of what God has called you to. Christ, who suffered for you, is your example. Follow in his steps.
2:22
He never sinned, and he never deceived anyone.
2:23
He did not retaliate when he was insulted. When he suffered, he did not threaten to get even. He left his case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly.

Some encouragement from @lly

New International Version
1 Peter 2

2:21
To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.

2:22
"He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth."

2:23
When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.

Thanks @lly. I have already been reminding myself that God will Judge. That is the reason why I name #2 Jadon, because Jadon in hebrew means - God will Judge, be grateful.

So pissed off by my current employer

Image
You know what. I have checked with MCYS, my current employer has yet to send in the application for my 3rd month govt "maternity" claim from CPFB.

1st they gave me the retrenchment letter dated in Jan'08 when I was only 4th month pregnant, thus they can DON'T pay a single cent for my maternity. Next they make me stay till 30th April. Afterwhich, I am not qualify to get anything from my new employer because I can't fulfill the 180 days of employment with the coy.

Then MOM officer told the HR Manager to help me apply the FULLY govt funded 3rd month maternity claim from the CPFB. Till now, she has not done anything.
Thank God the MOM officer took the initiative to pass my case to MCYS, which is willing to help me check if the application has been submitted. Officer Liu will submit my case to MCYS management for their consideration and will inform me of the outcome once a decision is made.

I really got nothing to say. This place is indeed a cold and heartless place. I can't wait to leave this stupid place. It has be tormenting for me to step into this workplace every morning.

What is Qassia?

Was recently introduced to Qassia.

What can I do at Qassia?
You can add your websites, and get unlimited quality backlinks. There is no need to pay, or to link back to Qassia. Websites are processed instantly and ranked by the amount of credits you have amassed. To earn credits, you can add intel, i.e. tidbits of intelligence.

Why is Qassia needed?
Promoting a new site has never been easy, and it's getting tougher every day. Site owners are forced to spend hours upon hours doing mundane and unproductive tasks such as exchanging links. Many give up, and splurge on advertising - which is why Google Adwords earns $1 billion per quarter.

How will Qassia generate traffic?
At Qassia, you will get credit for adding your intel. The more credit you get, the better your sites will rank. This provides incentive for site owners to contribute to Qassia. Thus harnessing the minds of millions, Qassia will become the largest repository of intelligence on the web.

MEN NEVER LISTEN

In an aeroplane , a gentleman had made several attempts to get into the men's restroom, but it had always been occupied. A stewardess noticed his predicament. Sir, she said ' You may use the ladies room if you promise not to touch any of the buttons on the wall.'

He did what he needed to, and as he sat there he noticed the buttons he had promised not to touch. Each button was identified by letters: WW , WA , PP, and a red one labeled ATR.

Who would know if he touched them? He couldn't resist..

He pushed WW. Warm water was sprayed gently upon his bottom. What a nice feeling, he thought. Men restrooms don't have nice things like this. Anticipating greater pleasure, he pushed the WA button. Warm air replaced the warm water, gently drying his underside. When this stopped, he pushed the PP button.

A large powder puff caressed his bottom adding a fragile scent of spring flower to this unbelievable pleasure.. The ladies restroom was more than a restroom, it is tender loving pleasure. When the powder puff completed its pleasure, he couldn't wait to push the ATR button which he knew would be supreme ecstasy.

Next thing he knew he opened his eyes, he was in a hospital bed, and a nurse was staring down at him. 'What happened?' he exclaimed. ' The last thing I remember was pushing The ATR button.'

The nurse replied; 'The button ATR is an Automatic Tampon Remover. Your penis is under your pillow.'

hotel review

4/5 Posted by Mildred Yeo, Singapore in March 2008

"My friend and I enjoyed our stay in the hotel. It's certainly value for money. Buffet breakfast is decent, though not much variety, but we are ok with that. Good location...5 minutes walk to nearest skytrain train station, 5-10 minutes walk to Platinum Fashion Mall, Pratunam Centre and Baiyoke II Tower (Bangkok's tallest building...must go, you won't regret the experience!:)) and free transport to Siam Paragon. If you have time must go for the spa and thai massage in the hotel. Guest is offered 50% discount on various spa packages. Beds are clean...no bed bugs! :) However, the aircon is kind of loud, but bearable. The hotel is located on a side lane, a couple of minutes walk away from the main street, hence quiet. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. They allow early check in and late check out too. Will definitely stay at this hotel again! :) "

Jadon needs to be c-sect.

had a chat with Dr. Adrain last sat. He says I can still try to deliver Jadon via natural but in any case of complication, he will not survive. Well, both wy and I wouldn't want to take any chances. So we will arrange for a c-sect for Jadon. At the most we stop at #3. My tummy is getting bigger and bigger... hehehe... I will like carrying a bowling ball everywhere I go, and there seems to be a bit of swell below too... I guess it's due to the pressure from the baby. Oh Jadon is fast, he is already in his head-down position... I guessed that explain the pressure and the swell.

Counting down to my last month in Euro - 16 more working days and I will be out of this heartless, cold place.

Luckily I managed to secure another job but I wont be able to qualify for any maternity benefits thou because I need at least a min of 180 days with my new employer. Sad to say, I will have to deliver during my probation too... thus my probation might be lengthen to another month when I go from my confinement.

Confinement wont be easy this round. With no income yet spending more on baby delivery, baby stuff, confinement meals etc... God.... I trust that He will continue to be my Provider. He will make a way for me. If He can blessed me with a new job with increment more than I have asked for, I believed He will make a way for me.

10 (a) 4 (b) 2 (c) 3 (d) 5 (e) 6 (f) 1

Now add up the total number of points.

OVER 60 POINTS:
Others see you as someone they should "handle with care." You're seen as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don't always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS:
Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS:
Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS:
Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS:
Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS:
People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions & who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything! They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist. Some people think you're boring. Only those who know you well know that you aren't.
