After the Mumbai blasts..

Food for thought: Has anyone thought of blaming ourselves instead of the government bashing? Anyone thought of doing something instead of blaming? And when I say doing something, I don't mean voting. That's an easy way out. Do you think the traffic cop that lets you go for a small bribe is much different that the security guard you hate at malls? Do you think the number of lives lost due to accidents is not related to those lost in terrorist attacks? Do you blame the government for the lives lost due to tuberculosis even though you see spit stains in your building? Do you really think a mere 'government' is gonna change anything? Change has to come from the people. It is very easy to bash the faceless 'government'. Not to undermine anyone's genuine although maybe misdirected anger. It is IMPOSSIBLE to prevent these attacks just by the government, not that they are absolved of their duties to do as much as they can. Just a little more awareness a...

Living a dream

Of dreams and schemes, worlds you've never seen. Forgetting what you know, Discovering new dreams. I think it is me. I know I am free. Grabbing clouds, An eager squeeze. No pain hurts. Sheer bliss, All I feel. Where to head? feet off the green. The music smells sweet. No silence to breathe. Surfing the seas of time, it seems. Of Kings and queens and climbing trees. Living a dream is like falling asleep.

One flu over the pig sty.

Hello fellow H1N1 (Swine flu for people who havent cared to heard about the WHO renaming ceremony) potential victims. Lo behold! Are you completely prepared for the next disaster to strike our country after Rakhi ka swayamvar??!! If not, good, you should read ahead and if you are, it is even more imperative that you read ahead. Some Basic facts about disease first. Flu like diseases are caused by probably the smallest creatures known to man that are viruses. When I say smallest I mean they reach sizes of a few nano metres which is like really small. These viruses are usually present in our nasal secretions and sometimes in our lungs too. When we sneeze or spit, we actually expel relatively large droplets in the air. These are visible and settle down somewhere due to gravity. Some of the small ones though float in the air carrying infective germs including viruses in cases of infected persons. These small droplets can be very tiny and invisible to the naked eye and linger ...

Hello again..:)

I can't believe people still actually come here...I mean I don't come here myself. Pleasantly surprised to see the comments on the last post. But I am back again. Back because I can. Because I am done with the exams that sucked a year out of my life....But don't worry...I sucked a few months too...I don't really think that makes any sense. But hey I am back after really long so cut me some slack awrite? :P Feels good to converse with screen in front of me again. I hope I can come back for good. Who cares what I write. Ok..so..a little update. I am done with the exams and now I have to fly off to Amrika. But haven't got the Visa yet. This is gonna be my first trip abroad and alone. An era has ended. A genius is gone. An idol for idols has left us. But I am sure, even though he may not appear in tabloids and controversies any more, even though millions across the world would not hope for one more touch of his awesomeness, even though there will never be another Michael Jackson concert, the magic will live on, the music will live on, the legend will live on. After all, he is 'The Michael Jackson'. Yes, may you like him or not, you cannot deny that his name epitomizes a legend, a giant wave that took over the world, a true star. I may sound like a typical fan when I say all that, and may be I am. But to be honest, I do not know any other artist who could capture someone's imagination like this one could. A man who demolished every boundary there ever was. He demolished music genre, age, nationality, race, gender and sometimes even just being human. He was surreal, a mythical creature in that sense. His music, his videos, his costumes, his persona all make...
