About Jess Ward
My name is Jess Ward, and I’m a Mormon. I started this blog while living in Western New York as a full-time missionary, which explains my username: nymissionaryjess. I have since finished my mission honorably and returned to California, but I cannot figure out how to change the username. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing: I still believe in God. I still knows He answers prayers. I might not get to share my faith with others 24/7 (now you’ll find me studying for midterms in the library!), but God’s plan for His Children still brings me more happiness than anything else… which is why I continue to blog. NYmissionaryjess might be better known as CAstudentjess these days, but I continue to learn what it means to be a child of God.

I surely do feel comfort when I read these reflections by a young woman dedicating her life to service and Jesus Christ. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Sister Ward,
thanks so much for this link. I also gave the link to my friend Katie.
You’ve taught me so many awesome Gospel messages. I just wanted to say thanks for all you have done and share with you my now favorite scripture from the Book Of Mormon 3 Nephi v 39 ” Verily, Verily , I saw unto you this is my doctrine , and whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock , and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them ”
I cant wait to read more of your new site
