The late Jan 2009 waz up

Howdy all. I’m hanging out with the kids. Chesney is taking a well deserved nap. School is still school. Work is going well. Kayden has gotten very mobile and enjoys his new freedom quite a lot. Every now and than I’ll come walking back out of a room I went into to find him half way down the hall looking for me. Adrienne is quite the helper when she wants to be. I think it is still cold but I’m starting to get used to it (finally) I was walking bare foot in shorts to check the mail in Rexburg by this time a few years back.

Well I think that’s about it. We are keeping fairly busy with this and that. I’m looking for jobs and writing letters to people at school and Olympia asking them to not do stupid things. Out family has been blessed a great deal and we don’t mind it at all.

2009

I've not been on here in awhile.

Kayden is turning 9 months. He's gotten rather mobile though his version of crawling is a little awkward still. Adrienne is 2 and still growing she is developing a lot of personality. She loves to help and she also loves to try to get her own way.

Chesney and I are trying to exercise more and eat less junk food. It is kind of odd many people make new years resolutions do them for 2 weeks and quit. We've opted for reversed karma we ignored our resolutions for 2 weeks and should now stick with it.

I;m still in school much of it is just jumping hoops at this point though my practicum is a great learning experience. If this program really wanted to be better they would just have us work full time at a good agency and take a night class and call it good.

Our family has been greatly blessed in so many ways despite the odd frustrations we are quite happy and enjoying life.

December 2008

I'm all but done with this quarter of school I need a few more hours at work and about 10 hours of sitting in a small room listening to people repeat boring information to people who failed to get it the last 15 times it was explained.

We had a great Thanks giving week down in Oregon.

We all got a bit sick, but we are just about over that. Chesney and I took the kids shopping at the dolor store. Adrienne picked out a few fun gifts. We had to help Kayden make his selections.

Its getting colder though not too bad yet I've only had to scrape windows a few times.
The kids keep growing and trying new things Kayden spent a fair amount of time tonight clapping. Adrienne has found more things to hit her fore head on than I would have thought passable. Shes not too far from having a perpetual bruise.

Life goes on

I have a great family and a decent part time job. I've got a few months left untill school is out and I can look for a "real" job.

Our nation and world is in for some rough times ahead. I wish all my friends and family the best. I don't know what all will happen, but I do know that if we stick clsoe to the Lord and His church that come heck or high water life death or what else we will one day be together agian in peace and safty.

Well it’s November. Its still fairly warm here we’ve had a little frost, but not often.
Work is going well. I’m learning a lot which is really good. School is well for the most part a waste of my time aside from my needing to get a peace of paper.

The kids are growing Adrienne is talking up a storm and half the time I understand it. Kayden can role to just about anywhere. He’s not scooting just yet but he keeps trying. We had fun at the Ward fall party and also the trunk or treat these last couple weeks.

Chesney is still teaching the young women I’m teaching elders quorum which is a lot of fun. I think that’s about it for us, Chesney and I got our ballots dropped off and we are eager to not have to get junk mail from the Governor.

Alive and cold :)

Its conference weekend Chesney and I decided that trying to keep two cranky babies happy in a dark room for 2 hours at a time would somehow diminish our ability to listen and understand what was being said. I did go to the priesthood session which was great. We downloaded a few talks from Saturday to listen to today with the technological marvels of Dialup internet it only takes about an hour to download a 15 min talk. Hopefully I can snag the rest at school or work where there is some real internet access.

Kayden keeps getting bigger, but does not like to sleep through the night yet. Adrienne is taking on more of a big sister role and was feeding Kayden some of her apple sauce last night. When she used the baby spoon it worked well however she also tried to use the pasta fork (really big spoon think with spikes) which did not work out so well. We had a nice day with the finger paints which BTW work great to color people. We are all more of less over our various colds flu’s and what not. It’s starting to turn cold up here. The highs are in the 50’s and the lows near freezing. Chesney is working on some crocheting and a few other craft projects (everything but scrape booking). I was released as the Ward Mission leader so I don’t have to get up really early on Sundays now which is nice. Work is good and school is odd. 2 of my 3 classes start with some form of guided meditation one of my teachers lights a candle and has little chimes she uses off and on. On the whole life is going good for us and we hope you are all doing well.

I’ve finally finished reading “The moral basis of a free society” -H .Verlan Anderson. As most of you know I don’t like to read if I can avoid it. Anyhow long story short aside from gaining a testimony of the gospel and deciding to ask a wonderful women to marry me this has been by far the most fantastic spiritual as well as intellectual event of my adult life. While without the benefit of my years of collage I would not be able to appreciate it as much as I do I think I’ve learned more in those pages than all of my years in collage combined in terms of policy, government and human behavior. Anyhow I’ll try to stop bugging everyone to read it, but it truly has been a intriguing process for me.

I'm a blogger now

I decided to keep a blog. It’s a lot easier than trying to keep up with peoples email addresses and saves them the trouble of deleting my emails if they don’t want to read them. This will probably be a low or no picture blog for the time being as pictures and dial up are not a good combo.

I’m back in school. I’m doing my practicum at LDS family services. They are located out in the valley which makes for an almost 90 min ride each way, but its not much longer than my last place and they did not pay me at all. Another perk is a have a really skilled professional training me and I’m learning how to work with the various types of people and issues that I want to.

We’ve had a slight case of the flu and we are settling in for the upcoming drop in temperature.

Well that’s it for now take care.
