Bedtime

Huntley is in love with his new little sister. When I walked in the bedroom I caught him holding her hand and she was just looking at him. Such a sweet moment. He is so tender hearted and loves to make sure she is ok. He loves to hold her, bring her everything she needs, be near her and makes sure she is always ok. I can't quite say the same about their other sibling. At this point, Heagan likes to say "hey" to Hatton and then swat at her….Ummm…we have some adjusting to do, but she will get there.

First Bath

She didn't love her first bath, but she didn't cry either.

Big Sis wanted to watch and was quite concerned about her lil sis.

Then it was the big kids turn!!

Gran Meets Hatton

Gran Gran came to meet her 8th great grandchild.

I think they both enjoyed each other.

New Faces and Names

So many people have come to meet Hatton. She has seen lots of new faces and is learning lots of new names to some very special people. Here are a few of her new friends.....

And so many more, however, Momma's hands are little more busy these days and she doesn't always get the camera when she meets someone new. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends that couldn't wait to meet our beautiful girl.

At First Sight They Loved You

Huntley has been waiting for his sister for what seems like forever! When we arrived home he met us in the driveway anxious to meet her. Heagan was just excited to see mommy but quickly realized something interesting had also arrived. Huntley kept running back and forth telling everyone, "Hatton is here, Hatton is here, come see her". We couldn't put her down fast enough for him to get his first glimpse. The just stared at her in awe and couldn't believe she was really here. My three most amazing blessings! Oh how I thank my God!

Your First Days.....

Mommy and Daddy woke up early in the morning to head to the hospital to meet you. We were so excited to see your sweet face. NeNe, Papa, MeMe and Poppy all arrived shortly after and were waiting to greet you in the recovery room. As soon as you were born daddy, Dr. Brown and the nurses commented on all your hair. As soon as I could see you I knew why. You had a head full of beautiful black hair. I think the first words out of mommy's mouth were "she is so fat!" You looked nothing like Huntley or Heagan to us. You were Hatton and you were perfect! I cried tears of joy and kissed your sweet head and then you were off to get cleaned up and meet your grandparents.

We had lots of family visit while we were in the hospital. You have been loved right from the beginning. Welcome into our lives sweet girl, we welcome you!

Aunt Kim and Uncle Timmy visited too, but we didn't get a chance to take a picture.

She has filled a place in our hearts we never knew was empty.

Dear Friends, can I please ask you a favor…..

we need prayer warriors for some dear friends of ours who just received some devastating news about their pregnancy. They are due in March with a precious baby girl and just found out there are some severe complications. Please, I ask you with tears streaming down my face, to pray for Ella Grace! The kind of get down on your knees and thank the Lord for your babies and ask for a miracle for theirs!! It's hard to know God's complete plan, especially when I am looking at my newborn perfect baby girl, but I am certain there is a purpose for every single thing. Please pray for their entire family. Ella Grace is so loved and awaited by so many people that can't wait to meet her. Please pray diligently each time you think of them.

A Place For You

Legoland

Kym, Tracee, Nene and I decided to take the kids to Legoland while the bigger ones were outta school. We thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to going back. I only captured a few pictures before my camera battery died so I'll have to borrow pictures once again from Tracee or Kym.

Christmas Morning

We welcomed Santa with cookies and milk and his reindeer enjoyed some carrots on the back porch....
