Meeting the Maker
**Strictly speaking, this poem wasn’t written in response to RLB’s prompt today. I actually wrote this one about thirteen or fourteen years ago during a poetry class, but it fit the prompt.
Summer Nights are Magical Times
Summer nights
are magical times.
Shimmering
coronas
surround brightly glowing moons;
Heavenly bodies.
Summer nights
are magical times.
Cold, long neck
Coronas
slake the evening thirsts of
Heavenly bodies.
Summer nights
are magical times.
Moonlit hair
coronas
the face I timidly kiss;
Heavenly body.
