BYU at Air Force

We decided this fall to leave the kids with Taffy's mom and head off for an extended date to Colorado Springs for Jeremy's birthday with the Kinghorns.  While the Cougs didn't fare too well against the Falcons, we still had a great time.  The Air Force Academy stadium is a great place to watch a game.  The scenery is great and the fans are extremely friendly.  I'd recommend it to anyone.

The Little Guy Turns 5

The day has finally arrived (or rather, arrived a few months ago, but we just got around to posting the photos)... the little guy is 5.  He had a fun toy story party with his buddies.  He really enjoys pre-school, and has become quite a good little reader.  He also really enjoys sports of all kinds, especially soccer and baseball (though we haven't had the desire to commit to that particular sport formally yet).

Soccer

This year we decided to engage all of the kids in some kind of physical activity.  It just so happened that all three of them wanted to do soccer.  Luckily for us, the local AYSO chapter does everything, practices and games, at the same soccer complex.  Even so, it made for some busy weeks.  Thanks to some very patient coaches, all of the kids made great improvements this year and had a good time doing it.

Ghost in the Graveyard

In the spirit of the Haloween season coming up (and because C'man told me this morning that he wants to get a lot of "hits" to his website -- in his words), enjoy the following video.

On the way home from camping we took out time and explored some sweet spots in the Jemez mountains.

On the way to the Jemez mountains we took some back "roads".  Jeremy highly criticized my jeeping abilities but I thought it was great fun. I was only attempting to verify  how sturdy and capable the car was. He was kind, however, he did insist on driving after our picnic break.
