A friend of mine wanted a silent mouse for gaming when his GF was studying in their studio apartment. I found an old mouse and removed the button mechanism and wired some cable through to the pads and made a small contact pad for each side.

the first version was going to use ‘tin-foil fingerpads’ but that was a bit silly to have to put on each time.

Then I pulled the mouse buttons off an old laptop trackpad and taped them on with some more tape and put copper tape on the underside.

and added a cool logo…
