it's crazy to think that just 10 years ago i met this amazing guy! and now, 9 years later, we have been blessed with this......

three incredibly adorable little boys. we love them so much and this picture totally shows how cute they really are.

our sweet nolan who is so obedient and so loyal and so handsome. we are so lucky to have him.

lukie, our crazy ball of fire, so animated and so goofy and so antagonistic, yet so adorable.

 and then iker's. he just melts my heart. so happy and so content and so in love with me. (for now)

our dear friend keelie took these pictures and i love how she captured our crazy life. our boys never stop moving. i look at these pictures and think how blessed i am to have 4 amazing men in my life. i know i will always be taken care of. and they are such handsome men. i would have put more of the pictures up but i'm just too tired. the ones i put up are my favorite anyway. love them!

{halloween}

this year, since i was not pregnant, we wanted to have a halloween party. it was so much fun to get all our friends to come and go trick-or-treating around our awesome neighborhood. it really is the best to to trick-or-treating in. the houses are close together and it's a safe place. so you can get tons of candy! we went through 10 bags in 2 hours. what!?

the boys were part of the avengers team. luke was captain america, nolan was thor, and ike was the hulk. and a darn cute one!

i bet this kid can wear this costume next year. i didn't realize how big it would be.

what a great halloween we had. the boys anticipated this for so long and i know it didn't disappoint. these are the kind of memories i want to have forever. love my family.

{luke's party}

now that luke is in preschool, he was able to celebrate with a party at school.  he was so excited because he got to wear his costume and nolan didn't get to wear his to school. why are siblings like that? i remember being the same way.

some of the mothers put together the party. they had great games for the kids. luke was incredibly focused.

he came home with a goody bag. (as if he wasn't going to get enough candy trick-or-treating.)

my little lukie is growing up so fast. i do love the little moments with this kid but i could do without all the whining and tantrums. gosh, he's trying my patience. and you all know my patience is low to begin with. regardless of that, i love seeing him enjoy his school party and all the friends that he has made.

{book fair}

nolan's school had a fun book fair a few weeks ago. they had all sorts of fun things for the kids to get them excited about reading. they got to pick a new book of their own, get their faces painted, play reading games, and eat lots of treats. although the face painting looks a little gross by the time we took a picture, the kids loved it! luke was a dog and nolan was a lion.

{tanner farm}

 it's crazy to think that last year when we took the boys to tanner farm i came down with some crazy arthritis while pregnant with ikers. i couldn't walk or even move it was so painful. it lasted for about 2 months. thank goodness i didn't have the same thing happen this year. 

the farm was a hit for all the boys. wish it would have been a much warmer experience but still a good time.

i can't believe ike is 9 months old! stop it.

nolan cracks me up! he comes up with some crazy outfits and this was no different. he kind of looks like an old lady with the sunglasses he chose.

luke was so excited to ride the bikes himself this year.

the boys loved the barrel ride. 

another fun family outing to the farm. the donuts are to die for, the pumpkin slushies are divine. it really is a great time. we can't wait for next year!

{reading with ike}

we love books at our house. it is something we hope our kids will grow up to love to do. we have been reading with all of them and this is usually how it goes. it starts out with all the boys behaving.

that changes very quickly with ike. he usually reaches for the book and wants to put it in his mouth.

and more reaching.

so much, that nolan starts to hold ike's hand back just so they can finish reading the book.

at this point nolan and luke are getting a little frustrated with ike. but they are still nice.

then ike was getting frustrated and lunged backwards. luke apparently liked it because he could see the book again.

even with all the grabbing and the "i can't see" the boys love hanging out with ike. i really love seeing the relationship between them. they really make life that much more enjoyable.

{another season come and gone}

nolan is really starting to get the hang of soccer. if you remember, last season, nolan was so nervous before each game and didn't even touch the ball till the last game. this year he was crazy! he was getting in there pushing and shoving (not really part of the game but we were just excited he was doing something) and kicking the ball. he even scored some goals. (they were for the other team but who cares, right!) we were so proud of nolan. he loves soccer!

this season as a little different because when we signed nolan up there was no coach. so jake volunteered us to be the coach. i think we learned a good lesson, NEVER be a coach of a bunch of 5 year olds that are total space cadets. we really got a team full of butterfly catchers. non of the kids would listen and none of their parents would get involved to help their child. this was the most frustrating season for jake and myself. all the other teams beat us by many, many goals. and the other teams actually listen to their coaches and did what they said. soooo frustrating!

even with us being completely sick of coaching we loved seeing nolan stretch himself. i hope that he can get on a good team with lots of excited players next time. i think it would only help him get better and better.

{picture perfect}

at the end of the trip my siblings and their incredible spouses decided to have a redo of our jumping picture from back in july. i, apparently, am the worst jumper and always jumped first and landed first. so while everyone was in the air i was squatting down like a dork.  everyone thought they were so funny and just sat there for the first attempt. hahahaha......not funny people!!!

  so mean. but i love them still. with all the fun they were having teasing me we did nail our picture.

i have to give props to kim, she is jumping after just having a baby 10 days ago. and yes, we are sisters and do the same pose without even telling each other. i love and miss these guys so much!

after all the hooplah, i started taking a bazillion pictures of the beautiful sunset. utah is so beautiful. i miss the mountains and incredible sunsets from my parents house.

as we drove away from those awesome mountains i got a little emotional thinking about how long it will be until we meet again.

this sunset was a fire in the sky. so pretty!

we had a great trip. it's always hard to say goodbye. we are starting to miss our family. going on 6 years of being away. hopefully we can get closer soon!

{luck}

as luck would have it, haley and judd overlapped us in utah. it was as if the stars had aligned. so haley and i made it happen. the boys went golfing in the morning, while haley and i went shopping with the babes. then we met up with the hubs for lunch at iggy's. yum!

i was lucky enough to be pregnant at the same time as haley. our babies are only 3 weeks apart. and yes, they have an arranged marriage. berkley jo is the cutest baby, seriously.

our husbands enjoyed us taking out our second exact cameras and snapping ridiculous photos of each other.

after lunch the boys went to a movie and haley and i went shopping again. {note to self, never shop in layton. worst mall ever.} since shopping didn't do us any good we headed to the sweet tooth fairy.

these kind of stores should not exist. i have no self control.

and right next door was the red mango. oh wow! pretty much all we did on this 4 hour excursion was eat and shop. oh, and had a nursing party in the car, totally embarrassing.

and here is the future mr. and mrs. they are so cute together. berkley is a ball of fire. way more active than ike. and i'm not jealous one bit.

i seriously love this girl. we have been so close for 6 years now! can't wait to get together again. but next time it will be with all the gals and we will be celebrating my 30th birthday!!!  ahhhhh!
