This quote reminded me so much of D., that I had to post it!

"Words – so innocent and powerless as they are, as standing in a dictionary, how potent for good and evil they become, in the hands of one who knows how to combine them!"~ Nathaniel Hawthorne

A new bed, and a moment of shame

We borrowed GH from my brother. I miss it.
Image P.'s new bed! It's an extendable bed from IKEA. So, it's at it's shortest stage right now (where it will stay the entire time we're in this tiny apartment).

Image A moment of desperation:
Image We were soooooo frustrated with the girl's naughty behavior one night, that we ran out of ideas. This was a stupid one, but we were at our wit's end. I wanted them to wake up feeling horrified that their stuffed animals were being held hostage.

Valentine's Day

My mom was having them try out their V-day outfits. She made D.'s dress, and P.'s vest, and A.'s parents gave I. the dress for her B-day, which I. had been saving to wear on V-day.
Image Julie directed me to a blog which had cool V-day hairstyles, so I did it for the girls.

Image We went to a temple sealing that day, so we had Aunt A. and Uncle D. babysit the kids, and Aunt A. took this picture for us after we got back and changed:

Image D. was pretending it was sacrament time.

Image We were there during a weekend honoring Black History month, and there was a great storyteller named Kirk Waller, telling traditional African and African American stories.
