18 Months

On Christmas Day Maggie turned 18 months old. It is amazing how much she has changed in 6 months.

Some of Maggie's latest milestones include:

Love that smile!
  • Still wearing size 4 diapers
  • In 18 month and some 24 month clothing
  • Hair is getting longer and is needing a trim soon, the front is starting to get in her eyes (Nanny gave her bangs and the back of her hair a little trim Jan 6th)
  • Has all teeth in except for 2 year molars.
  • Is repeating at least a word from most phrases we say.
  • Loves to say "Oh no" and question where someone is by throwing her arms out and saying that person's name
  • Says "thank you" when she doesn't want something anymore (she became used to us saying "thank you" when we took something from her)
  • Loves - Elmo, grapes (and fruit in general), cuddling, climbing, her friends (Rees 'ees' and Kal 'cow'), her grandparents (JoJo, Nanny, and Rad Rads), music/dancing
  • Still a pretty good eater, is funny about textures sometimes (not into most veggies unless they're pureed)
  • Recognizes A, B, I, O, C and has written A, I, O, and C (thank you Alphaberry and Aunt Rachel/Uncle Jess)
  • Sings with me (God is Good, Jesus loves Me, Alphabet, Row Your Boat) when I rock her to sleep and makes song requests
And since I'm adding this post almost a month later :/... there seems to be nothing that Maggie can't say (or attempt to say). She clearly says puppy, apple, house, mouse, etc. This last week she has had some sort of bug, but I think it's attributed to her teeth, those 2-year molars are starting to bother her. We've also started casually potting training. Last week she peed in the potty before bed every night! Love you Maggie girl!
