Checking Water
Ridge is very interested in the pivot. When he goes with Jon he usually needs a bath and another set of clothes. Sometimes he just looks at everything. This time we looked at the pivot and at the wheat. We were riding around in my little red pick up and he kept trying to lean out the window. I told him to get back in and no several times. He looked at me and said "don't tell me no". This is my strong willed child!

The Park
Now that the big kids go to school in Lubbock we get to go to the park. The only playground in Petersburg is at the school so we can't go up there. There is an awesome park down the street from Reagan's school so on the days that we pick up Reagan or have extra time in Lubbock we go to Wagner Park in Tech Terrace. It is an awesome park. Ridge asks to go to the park all the time now. We have sand toys that stay in the car and I now go down the slide on a regular basis. Basically he tells me what to do and I do it. The park is a great place to go and I wish there was one down close to where I lived that I could go any time he did something great or just because we wanted to. Oh well we live in the country and while we don't have the equipment or other kids we the great cotton fields, Nana's barn, Ridge's little tractor and Gram's house.
Going for a Ride
Ridge LOVES Toy Story! We got him several of the figurines but we started out with just Woody and Buzz and he decided to put them in the back of the tricycle and took them for a ride. We now have a whole set of toys but pork chop seems to be his favorite. I don't know why...maybe it's because money is supposed to go in his back and he thinks of his piggy bank.
