Pregnancy update

I can't believe I am finally in the thirties... 30 weeks 3 days! I have been feeling great and just recently started noticing that I have to slow down a bit. Classes at the gym are getting harder! Right now I am down to Step and Zumba, and then just doing cardio and weights. Zumba is my favorite! I think I will be able to continue with it til the end. I am also starting to get tired more and just bending over is hard work!
Heartburn has been in full swing for a long time. The other day I think I took a record number of tums.. .5 in one day! It's also very hot here. I have been having that tightening feeling a lot more often. I guess it could be Braxton hicks although I've never had them this early before.
She moves like crazy sometimes and I love it! Eric got to feel her move at about 22 weeks. And Dresden is the only one who has the patience to wait for her to move and he finally felt her move about 28 weeks. He had the cutest little look on his face, so excited. He always puts his hands on my belly and asks how big she is now.
But I really do feel pretty good and am starting to think the day might actually come! The other day we had a little date night and before dinner we bought our new car seat. So fun to be able to buy a few new things for her.
And in the best news I got an official date! Baby girl will be here September 15th! C-section is all scheduled. The countdown is on!
Here are a few belly shots

My 29th Birthday

It was such a wonderful birthday this year! My last year in my twenties...crazy! My friends kept referring to it as my forever 29! Everyone was so nice and I got some wonderful phone calls and text from friends and family.
On Wednesday a sweet lady in our ward opens her pool to everyone, so that's where we started the day. It's so nice to have just a few people and the kids can wear their floaties and go off the diving board whenever they want! Much more relaxing than the YMCA pool. After that we all got ready for the day and waited for Eric to come home. I wasn't expecting anything because I know we are about to order my new camera that was meant for my birthday gift but he surprised me with two things I have been wanting. A new cutting mat for sewing and a new cutting board (for food)!   I am still learning with the sewing but it's so nice that I will be able to cut a straight line on an actual mat!

After we headed to a new Mexican restaurant we've been wanting to try. I always love just being with my little family. The conversations with the kids are the best! Then we went home and Eric made us cookies in our own little dishes with ice cream on top! So good! So thankful for such a sweet husband!
The kids get a little too excited about using daddy's phone to take pictures!

The next week my friends planned a dinner at La Paz! My favorite little Mexican restaurant. I got a free dessert, strawberry sopapilla, and it was the best restaurant dessert ever! Thanks girls!

Ashley, me, Corianne, Heather, Mikail, Stacy, and Cheryl

I had to post both these. The first one we asked the waiter to take. Seriously don't know how you can't take a straight picture. Ashley offered to take a good of everyone!

Father's Day

We have a pretty SUPER DAD at out house so we thought we would celebrate him in true super hero form! I saw this cute sign and knew we had to have one for Eric. The kids, especially Dresden loved the super hero stuff. I even got Ava a Black Widow cup, she was so excited to have the girl one! We had a great dinner and the kids had fun answering questions about their daddy. It was pretty funny. Asking them question about us is my new favorite thing. They say the most random things! I let them help me pick out ties for him too. They were pretty excited to give him his ties and shirt! The kids love their daddy and are so lucky to have him. They are obsessed with him over the weekends. They always want him to do everything for them and are constantly hanging on him. Eric is the best dad and I'm so grateful to him for taking such good care of the kids, teaching them things, letting them climb all over him, playing candyland for ever, singing songs in German, and just being there. Especially when I've been tired! Going to school and being the best daddy isn't always easy and we love him so much!

I sold my camera (woo-hoo) so I had Eric bring home his little rebel from school so we could have a few on Father's day. We were late for church and the kids were clearly not having picture time so we stopped after about two tries. :) Also makes me very ready to get my new camera.

Ava always loves to take a pictures of us. She does pretty good. Watching Dresden try and take one was pretty entertaining too. His were mostly of our feet!
