He continues to love wrestling!

The day after surgery, Kedzie was still on her pain blocker, she got to go to her swim holiday party. It was so great for her to be with her swim team and share in the holiday excitement. The next day, the blocker wore off!

The boys were lucky enough, once again, to be invited to go to grandma Julie's cabin for a few days before Christmas. They love it up there and loving having fun with the twins.

Image
Melanie has been such a great friend to Kedzie during her rehab at home. She visits and calls and delivers drinks and takes her to get nails done and is just there for Kedzie. So grateful these two are friends. Such a blessing to both girls.

We are grateful for Grandma who has done the 12 days of Christmas for our kids forever! This year did not disappoint! Some highlights? Gingerbread house and awesome pajamas!

Knee surgery chronicles

December 15th was a big day for Kedzie. The day her bone was cut and screwed and straightened and stitched and set at 20 degrees for the next 6-12 weeks. We were ready for the surgery, but didn't prepare well for the recovery. However, we are now over a week out and she's off oxy, getting up and down stairs on her own, showering and doing her chores! So impressed with her strength and her character. It's sad to see her go through so many serious surgeries in the past ten years, but man, she handles them well. So proud of her strength and her faith. And, aren't Lindie and Kedzie adorable?! Love them so much. Lindie and Erin came over to say good luck with surgery.

Ethan is a wrestler and he likes it! He fits in with the team, works hard and has so much fun. He's committed and has enjoyed every moment so far. He hasn't won a match yet, other than by forfeit, but he is wrestling varsity and having a great time.

Now that I'm working full days, what do we do with Phoebe? She needs people and adventure! Travis has been testing her out at the office. It's a change for both of them for sure, but it seems to be working.

Image
I know two kids who need glasses and had to get their eyes dilated! Then, they had to test out the glasses on poor Phoebe! (without the dilation of course!)

Sunday sacrament meeting chronicles! Kedzie crying because Tiffany got released as her young women leader and Ethan so sound asleep, it was hard to wake him for second hour!

Finally, some unfinished, although beautiful art work from my Kedzie girl. Isn't she talented? I'm so impressed with her skills and her imagination.
