The cast is off and the boot is on until January! No more crutches!
Alex is back to soccer with ECRL and the Rapids and a new team and he's loving it! It's refreshing to have him act hyper after practice or a game.
On occasion I have to work on a Sunday, so the Holland's are oh so kind to assist in nursery!
It's Christmas time again! We love getting our decorations out before Thanksgiving so we don't have to worry about them afterwards! Alex was super helpful decorating the tree and both he and Triston helped bring up all the boxes. Travis is our true Christmas decorator. I'm grateful he loves this time of year.
Ethan went hiking with his buddies. Can you spot him in the second picture? They now want to try rock climbing as a new hobby. Glad he chooses such in expensive new things to try! lol
Thanksgiving in St. George 2023
My goal was to get everyone out of Cache Valley for a change of scenery. I met that goal, but don't know that much changed. We still spent a lot of time in our hotel, because Thanksgiving day was a bit chilly and wet, but we saw beautiful site and family and friends and spent the time together which is what Thanksgiving is all about. Our drive down I-70 was beautiful!
We met up with Kathy, Reggie and Kedzie in Beaver at The Creamery
A little snuggling and warm pool time were fun.
The dogs were so happy to come with us and were awesome.
The new Red Cliffs Temple opens early next year.

So, Thanksgiving day we went to see the new Trolls movie and planned to eat at Chuck a rama. When the line there was over 100 people long, we ran to Smith's before it closed at one and grabbed some lunch items and went to the hotel to eat! So fun, rather so silly. We then hung out at the hotel for a while and tried Golden Corral around 5 and they had a very short line, so we enjoyed a Thanksgiving buffet and lots of laughter! Ethan's DQ dating app started all the silliness.

We saw Josh and Tipper Harris and their families while in St. George. Re-created this picture, 17 years later between Kedzie and Kennedie. So fun.
Satday after Thanksgiving, we hit Snow Canyon which was a favorite for all. We completed about four small hikes and had a wonderful time. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Reggie was so proud that he hiked, the dogs were so happy and we could walk or run or go wherever we wanted to go. Plus, it was beautiful! We really had a lot of fun exploring St. George. It had been a really long time since we'd been there.

BFF's since 1981 when he carried me on his shoulders all through Israel. We got to see each other for ten minutes at a gas station off the freeway. hadn't seen each other in about 30 years. What a great man he is. So fun to introduce him to my family and feel his love. We made it home and back to life on Sunday after Thanksgiving. Grateful for the time we had together and with Kathy and Reggie.

Ethan is doing DECA and did really well on his first and only competition! Hope he'll do more.
