Family Get Air

We went to Get Air together as a family with Nelson & Laura's Family as well as Colby & Shelly's Family then went to Warrens after for a bit to eat/ice cream. It was a lot of fun to jump other then I think having two children has done something to my bladder when I jump on a tramp. The guys I think were doing dodge ball the majority of the time and all of them were sore the next day too. I couldn't get too many good pictures because of the movement with my small camera, but did get some video of dodgeball and Brylee jumping.

Friends Again

My good friend that I used to work with Kari we have kept in touch and gotten together and found out that her bishop is one of my college friends, so she had a FHE/Dinner night at her house and she invited us both. It was so good to see Shannon and her family and we hope to get our college friends together after the new year for a little get together. Her husband is Kari's Bishop now, SMALL WORLD EH!! They guys got out of the picture by saying they had to take the picture!! ;) Thanks Kari I am glad we are friends!!!

HOMEMADE

The Fruits of our Labor from our last picking from the Garden before everything was pulled out.


My Dad has the BEST homemade Wheat Bread recipe, so I thought I would start making it, but when I was the only one other then Brylee that would eat it I quit making it and now only do on occasion. I have also tried to look for new recipe's and trying new things and I know I am a dork, but I have to take a picture of the successful meals. So here are my canning and meal pictures!!

Applesauce with Diana and then another couple of days of Applesauce again. I was going to do Apple Pie Filling, but realized I have a TON still and so I need to make a bunch of pies this year to get using it up.

I ended with digging all the seeds out of our many pumpkins and baking the seeds. I did Cinnamon sugar ones, Garlic/Salt, Garlic/Salt/Pepper, & Lemon/Lime/Pepper. They are so YUMMY!!

Happy Birthday MOM!!

We all went out to Dinner to Golden Corral a couple of days before Mom's Birthday since it was on a Monday and then on Sunday we had dinner at their house and I made a cake. She wanted chocolate cake and so I did chocolate frosting and tried to die some of the chocolate frosting blue since that is her favorite color, it didn't look that great, but it did taste good!!
My Mom is an amazing mother I feel so lucky to call her MOM!! I learned a lot from my mom growing up and am still learning. Some of the things I always remember as a kid are: When we came home from school and something smelt good we never knew if it was for us or someone else that she was helping out and taking dinner to. When we weren't feeling good she would say: "Get up, Get to work, and you will feel better!" It works it really does. She taught me when you have a calling in the church you give 110% and she never complained about it. She is a GREAT cook like Grandma was!! My mom is a best friend now, I can talk to her and she listens and sometimes will even tell me how it is even if it is hard for me to hear. We go shopping on occasion when I have A LOT of time, because we are usually gone a lot longer then expected. We like a lot of the same things: Christmas decorations/mangers, the Dollar Store or JoAnns, and crafty stuff too. I love you Mom!!

Sleepover while in Hawaii

So our best friends went to Hawaii, and we took a few days with their kids to help them out. The kids were just getting over being sick and were not feeling great and Tanner had school, so it wasn't too exciting at our house for them, but we did have a good time with them and I got the feel of what it would be like to have 5 kids for a few days too. They are good kids, and we watched movies, went to McDonalds, chilled out, and the kids played a lot!!

1st SNOW 2011

When it was snowing the kids just had to enjoy it and go out and play. It was nice to get a few things done while they played & stay in the warm house too!! Tanner and Brylee play so well together and they always watch after each other. They got the sleds out and Tanner was good with being the one to pull Bry around, they had a blast!!! Many more Snow days to come we hope!!

Doggie in a Tent

Brylee is so hilarious!! Or as Tanner would say herlarious, I think it is cute how he says it! She is so funny the things she says and comes up with. Sometimes she says things that others say, but other times, I just wonder were she came up with it. Last year for her birthday she got barbies and a barbie house and I found this little small tent for her barbies to go camping. Well she uses it for a lot more then barbies, it is for her babies, her doggies, and her newest thing when she was pretending to be a doggie the other day this is where we found her. Don't ask me how she got into it but she did!! She was sleeping on our floor in our room and I walk in and said where is Brylee, and Jason is just laughing and points and this is what I found!

Trunk or Treat, Trick or Treat, Kanesville Halloween Parade, Pumpkin Walk, & Visits

West Haven Pumpkin walk, note to not go at the end, they run out of candy, but it was still fun to see all the carved pumpkins on the path at the park. Some looked like Brylee did them and others were very creative.

We went to Kanesville Parade then later went back & I got to help with Tanners Fall Party, they did a cute Web game with yard & they had to untangle from it, then Trick or Treat if they picked Treat they got a Treat, if they picked Trick they had to act out the animal they got then in the end they all got a treat. In the other rooms they had a beanbag toss and musical chairs, they made gak and had stories read to them, then a activity/game they got to make.

Ward Dinner & TRUNK OR TREAT
We had a ward dinner and trunk or treat, it was a lot of fun we dressed up and decorated our trunk and I think Tanner was more excited about passing out the candy he rushed through the cars to get his treats in half the time it took Brylee. Brylee's friend from daycare Kaylee's Grandparents are in our ward and we had no idea, so she was so excited to see her best friend from daycare that came. She comes to church with her Grandma, but they had never stayed for class as she was worried she didn't know anyone and how she would be, but ever since she has been every week, so Brylee is loving getting to see Kaylee all the time again.

This year Tanner all along wanted to be an old man until right before we headed to my parents Jason talked him into changing his costume so dressed him up as some rock star. Brylee was back and forth depending on what she felt like at the moment and was a a cow girl on a horse at the trunk or treat, but then a Princess Cinderella the rest of the time easier to get in and out of I think!
