Can you hear me now

It was time again for Lil' Sis to go in and have her hearing tested and aides adjusted if needed. 
One of the testers sat behind the window and would do different beeps.  They had Lil' Sis pick up a peg. 

 Hold it next to her ear.  (I just adore her little hand on her hip as she patiently waited for the beep)

 Once she hears the beep she puts the peg in the whole. 

 After testing a lot of times, the lady switched from beeps to calling her name in the microphone.  The very first time she did it Lil' Sis put her finger up over her mouth and shushed the lady.  HAHAHAHA  she said "guess she heard that"  We are so happy with her results.  She sure is our little miracle girl. 

 Next we headed over the school Lil' Sis will be going to.  She looked so itty bitty in her little back pack and huge halls. 

Oh how I wish she could stay little but it sure is fun watching her learn and grow.

The Haynies just got chickens and asked if we wanted to raise some too.

Alan made this coop for us and the boys helped him set it up in our yard. 

The girls treat them like babies.  :)

 Everybody loves them. 

I am excited for the eggs which should come in August or September. 

Easter

General Conference this year fell on Easter weekend.  We loved hearing the wonderful messages of conference.  Always such a sweet experience.  Between sessions on Saturday we decorated our Eggs.  I so how did not take a single picture of Easter Morning though.

I LOVE April Fools day.  This year I fancied up the kids school lunch with potato head type sandwhich accessories, snakes in their grapes and sprite in their water bottles. 

For dinner I made chicken pillows served on toy dishes and salad in a toy cup.  The kids got a kick out of it all.

 Lil sis helped decorate a candy card for J.  We did a Flash Super hero cake which the Birthday boy loved.  Of course we had poppy seed chicken for dinner per J's request. 

 J is such a good, sweet, funny young man.  He is our peace maker and has such a way with kids.  Lil sis really wanted to blow out the candles and he only blew out half so she could blow too.  I feel so lucky to get to be his mom.

When lil Sis woke up from her nap Daddy was about to head out to work.

Therapy

Sweet J frog has been so tough and determined to heal from his broken femur back in Feb. 
He goes to physical therapy twice a week and is doing so well.  The work him hard and tell them they want him to be sore, and boy is he ever.  Despite all the pain he never complains.  He has been such a great example to me.
