A new Russo Summer Craze - The Slip-n-slide

I try hard to be a "fun" grandma.  Sometimes I do better than others.  I think the summer of 2012 was one of the best.  These are a few shots of our fun.  We put a big tarp down the hill and then soaped it up with dishsoap and let the water flow down on it.  It was a blast.  The kids love the water no matter what you do with it.

Daytona Beach for Nationals

The send off at Smith Fieldhouse.  These Cougs are Hip Hop Fools!  Love them so much.  Lots of support

The stage on the Beach at Daytona, Florida.  I will miss this place.  This is year 3 and I never get tired of supporting Sarah and the Cougarettes.

The Beach is one of my favorite parts of the competition.  Taking pictures with the trophy and congratulating other teams and watching the girls relax and have fun is something I will really miss.

Even the Dads relax and enjoy their girls and celebrating a job well done.

 Some of my favorite memories!

Grandpa Parker came with us to watch the competition.  She stayed at Kent and Penny's in Orlando and they all drove to Daytona for the big day.  Kent was taking pictures for us and got some great ones.  You can see those pictures on his website, Kpal Photography!

Steve and I did a little sightseeing.  We went to a lighthouse in Daytona that was really interesting.

We will really miss Cougarettes and supporting Sarah at ballgames.  She found out here in Daytona that she was chosen to represent BYU on Young Ambassadors and next year she will be touring China.  New adventures for Sarah but a little bittersweet.
