Artsformation is a research project exploring the intersection between the arts, society, and technology.
The identity is based on the visual artefacts of computer vision, how classifiers are constructed, and how they can potentially be fooled. Visual references to low and mid level features adversarial images, perturbations, and steganography contribute to a series of gradient cells that reference these visual artefacts, which are used throughout the identity.
The color variation of the logo is designed for predominantly digital settings – with the gradient cells interactive wherever possible.
