On Wednesday night, I watched this movie together with ccw, young sil and her bf.
Beowulf is actually a heroic epic poem written long long long long longggg time ago! Long enough that I do not know how to put the date. According to wikipedia it is also the only surviving manuscript during that time.
From wikipedia:
"In the poem, Beowulf, a hero of the Geats, battles three antagonists: Grendel, who is attacking the Danish mead hall called Heorot and its inhabitants; Grendel's mother; and, later in life after returning to Geatland (modern southern Sweden) and becoming a king, an unnamed dragon. He is mortally wounded in the final battle, and after his death he is buried in a barrow in Geatland by his retainers."
In the movie, Beowulf is a hero but with shameful story hidden behind. He did not kill Grendel's mother like mention in the poem. In short, the message from the movie is man can never escape from woman's beauty, power and wealth!
In my opinion, it is not worth watching. HAHA! BUT, the movie helps to promote this piece of valuable manuscript to the world.
Anyway, here is the official website for Beowulf: http://www.beowulfmovie.com/
A space for people who are close with me in heart yet far apart by distances and also people who are close with me in distance yet too busy with their own stories to share my everyday stories.

13th Panda's Wedding
It was 13th Panda's wedding 3 days ago, which is on Monday. Proud to be the earliest jimui to reach her house. Pink cotton, or2ng3s and I were given the task to play the groom before he wins the bride. I thought it would be a tough job, but then it turned out to be quite fun!
Show you guys a photo of the bride...

Kekekeke...We wanted to capture her throwing the ribbons but ended up capture photo like this. Good too, I can publish it here as her face is hidden and wont reveal her identity ;p

Sleepy Thursday
I think yesterday must be a very good date in Lunar.
My cousin, ccw's cousin and a friend of ours get married yesterday.
We took leave to witness the 2 weddings. Why 2? Because ccw's cousin married the friend of ours. hehe...And now, we are relatives. hee...If you do not understand, do not ask as I have already explained. *yawn*
In order to allow myself to attend the 2 weddings, I woke up at 4:30am and went over to my cousin's place. Then at 7:40am after the bride (my cousin) left, I went to ccw's cousin's (the groom) place to welcome the bride (my friend). After lunch, I drove to my cousin's place again to wait for the return of the newly-weds!
I got home at around 2pm and took a nap.
At night, we attended my cousin's wedding dinner. Luckily ccw's cousin did not hold any wedding reception at night.
Fun but exhausted!
I am still sleepy now!
Just bought a packet of strepsils to cure my sore throat.
It says: Dissolve a lozenge slowly in every 2-3 hrs. Do not exceed the stated dose.
But I still want to ask anyone who knows, what will happen if I have 2 lozenges in less than 2 hrs??
*sleepy*
Doctor, can I have mc as I am having sore throat? 'x'

The making of our Wedding video
Yeah!!! We have finally finished editing our wedding video. Now, the video length is about 40 mins. =) That should be short enough, hope no one will fall asleep halfway watching it.
It is not as fun to edit video compare to edit photo. I can only use the effect (fade in, fade out, sliding sideway, etc) to combine the clips together. But then, I realise I can actually enhance the video quality towards the finishing of the editing.
After complete it, I realise that I can actually make some effect to the audio too so that it wont have noises when combining the clips. GAH...I will re-do on some other day. ;p
Hee, dear friends, dont worry, I will keep on practising until your big DAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS and produce you presentable videos on your BIG DAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSS too! LOL!
It is fun to make our own wedding video.

Pre-Wedding Photo Shooting Album
It is wedding season again.
Whenever looking at other's album, it will remind me of mine.
I am not sure how about the rest, but each photo that I chose to keep in the album has its story. LOL. I mean the album basically remind me of the photo shooting day.
Taking the wedding photos make us experienced being artists for a day. We reached the studio in the morning. Make-up, dressed up, posing to take photos, having lunch box inside the studio, rest inside the studio, driver sent us to the place where we took photos, showering with fans' cheers (whitles, horns and funny noises they can think of) when they saw us taking outdoor photos (they are actually making fun of us la!), etc. Putting on the traditional costume is like filming for hong kong drama series. Hahahaha...Seriously, there is no feeling of taking wedding photos when wearing the evening gowns and traditional costume.
The whole process is quite fun.
But then choosing photos to be included in the album is tough. After many many rounds only we decided to exclude all the evening gowns and traditional costume photos. We keep only the photos where both of us dressed in the wedding gowns and suits.
Anyway, the album is now kept in the upper compartment of the wardrobe. I need a chair or ladder if I want to have a look at it. HAHA!! Most of the time, I will view the softcopy inside pc. Well, at least it is not a waste of money as I always thought.
To me, photos taken on the actual day would be more meaningful. Of course, the photos I refer to here is not those very artistic but just clear and sharp photos which capture the whole event. *ahem* I have yet to develop and arrange the photos taken on that day into photo album. ;p

7th July 2007, Hong Kong
I must say, this is the happiest morning that I had!
Wake up around 8:30am and our character breakfast session is from 7:30 to 9:30am. Quickly get ourselves dressed up and headed towards the restaurant. The distance from the room to the restaurant is quite far, I do not know whether there is any shortcut or not, but I have to make myself run abit in order to reach the destination faster.
When ccw was dealing with the receptionist at the entrance, I saw Mickey Mouse walking towards us, and then turned right and disappeared behind the door!

ORK!!!!!! Mickey Mouse went off just like that??? It was about 9:00am that time.
Sad!!! Very disappointed lor!!! When walking into the restaurant, I saw Minnie Mouse and Goofy. At least, there are still Minnie Mouse and Goofy. Still, I lost all the appetite towards the lovely breakfast. Who to blame? I was the one suggest to take the early session but then also the one who could not manage to wake up! ;p
Then, ccw tried to cheer me up with the food. There are a wide variety to choose from, Dim Sum, Hong Kong style breakfast, Japanese style breakfast, American style breakfast, etc. I got the Mickey Mouse waffle for the first round. ^_^ I told ccw, I was going to SWALLOW UP the Mickey Mouse as a punishment to Mickey Mouse for not having breakfast together with me!
While eating, I saw Goofy coming towards our table. Yeah, we took a photo together and off he went too! At the same time, Minnie Mouse was making her way from the back of the restaurant to the front too. I thought she was going to leave soon. But then, Mickey Mouse entered the restaurant again! Yippie!! I sat on the chair like the most obedient child you can imagine and waited for the Mickey and Minnie Mouse to come to my table. *giggle* Mickey Mouse came first then after another long wait only came the Minnie Mouse. I shook hands with them and hugged them. They are super friendly. I think inside the costume, it is a skinny lady. I notice that the legs and hands are very slim! LOL! Ok, do not ask me why I get so excited as all the moving/living cartoon characters are just someone who put on the costumes! I have no answer for you! ;p
With the photos captured inside my camera, I walked out the restaurant happily! ;p
Ccw and I went on exploring the hotel and taking photos. There is an outdoor swimming pool and also an indoor swimming pool. Too bad, we do not have enough time to enjoy it.
We returned to the room and packed our luggage to check-out.
At the hotel lobby, I found Cinderella. I walked up and took a photo with her too. ^_^
After that, we spent some more times inside the theme park again and exploring parts that we missed the day before.
Bid farewell to Disneyland. I make a promise to myself that is to visit another Disneyland in FUTURE...
Hopped onto the MTR, we headed to Kowloon, alighted at Yao Ma Tei station where Dorsett Seaview Hotel is located. I asked ccw to hire a taxi but the taxi driver refused to send us to hotel, he said it was too near! 'X'! So, we had to walk and drag the luggage about 500 meters from the MTR station. ;p
Once we settled down, we left the hotel immediately. ;p
Where we went?

After spending some times on taking photos of the skyline, I started to look for Andy Lau's hand prints and autograph on the floor.

After taking this photo, I looked up and found a lady giving me stern look. I think she must be Andy Lau's fan and get mad at us stepping on her idol's hand prints. He is my idol too, but how to take photo with me and the hand prints on the floor if this is not the way, right? Wrong! one of the fan was actually lying down on the floor and some squatted on the floor and tried to lower down their head as much as possible in order to take photo with it. Ok lor, I kalah to those super fans lor.
At 8:00pm, there is a light show called "A Symphony of Lights". In conjunction with the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's handover to China, fireworks were added to the beautiful lightings from each building and laser show which were syncronized to music. The night view is awesome. But not as pretty as the fireworks show at Disneyland! ;p

End of Day 4.

Sunburn on scalp
I went to Kota Kinabalu and came back with a roasted arm and scalp!
First few days, I felt the burning and painful on my arm and scalp. Then it becomes itchy gradually.
Starting last Saturday, the skin on my scalp was peeling off, just like dandruff!!!! :(
Please apply sunblock on your scalp too when you go snorkeling! LOL!
Hmm...but so far there is no peeling skin on my arm, maybe the aloe vera gel helps? I applied it on my arm but not my scalp.
