2008...a happening year.
Myself.For the pass 20 years or more, I always wonder will I have my own kid one day? I asked because I am afraid of giving birth to baby like many other ladies out there. To be exact, I am afraid of the pain when delivering baby. The mystery is resolved in 2008! I call it an achievement in life. :)
Went for the first health screening! No more fear towards needles! When I was carrying baby Cola inside my tummy, my poor finger would get poked every month to check the blood sugar level. That's how I become a brave girl! Hee...but still feel weak when I see blood!
Family.My In-Law FamilyWell, my new young sil left and worked in Singapore in March. I am the youngest in my family and always wish to have a younger sister. That's why I was quite looking forward to live with this younger sil when I first join this family. You know, we can do the girly stuff together. Too bad, she chose Merlion to live with and not me!
The first traveling together with parents-in-law to Macau, Hongkong & China in March is a great esperience. I heard that my father-in-law is planning to sponsor us an oversea trip in near future. If it were going to come true, you will get to read it in my blog!
During confinement period, I really get to know my in-law family better. I thank my parents-in-law and aunt for taking care of my little baby and myself. They did a great job.

Visit to my bro's apartment in April. Enjoy the free trip very very much but I think my bro's pocket might be burnt a hole by me! Hahaha...

What is that something has happened? My parents' house was broken into when CCW and I helped to look after the house as they went on traveling. I can still remember the day vividly. Ccw and I drove into the car porch as usual. Unlock the door, and walked into the house without spotting anything unusual at first. Until I saw the main door was wide open, wires hanging outside the cabinet in the living room. I was cold! CCW urged me to get out of the house in case the burglar(s) are still inside the house and I was pregnant that time. I was trembling, I think, as I could not get my uncle's phone number dialled correctly for a few time. CCW went to check what happened upstair while waiting for my father-in-law, cousin and uncle to arrive. Just a few minutes, my uncle brought his friends from the neighbourhood and arrived at my parents' house. They thought the burglar(s) were still inside the house. I tell you, BURGLAR(s), if you were inside the house, I guarantee you that you have no way to flee yourselves! CCW reported the case to the police. I do not know what are the personal item that they have lost but I know the BIG things such as dvd player, sound system and notebook were gone. My cousin came over to help to fix the main door so that it could be locked temporarily. After some dicussions with my brothers, we decided to call my parents to inform them on the burglary. My parents were shocked and I think I spoilt their mood. ;p
My small familyBaby cola, ccw and I have formed a new family. It all happened back in August! It is the happiest day of the family. I play the role as mother, ccw as the father and baby Cola as the only child. This small family seldom has its own time, their time are tied to the other 2 bigger families. So, there is not much story to tell yet.
First christmas tree I decorated.
I have attended a lot of wedding especially in the second half of last year. Each wedding has its own story.
I love Hung's wedding back in July where she managed to make her wedding dinner to a gathering among her close relatives and friends. It is so warming even though there is only a few tables, less than 10.
Then, it followed by Patsda's wedding in October. The church ceremony is held at St. Thomas church, a beautiful church that I used to think that all Christians should have their wedding there since I was a small girl. The best church wedding that I had attended so far.
In November, I attended this special wedding where both the bride and groom are my friends. Now I know how it is like to attend a wedding where you know both the bride and groom well.
Next, it is Wendy's wedding! A wedding that you can see how much effort the couples put in to make it perfect. Look at the ring pillow, it is done by the bride! It is like a piece of art to me! ;Þ
On 7th December, my cousin who used to be my playmate when we were kids is married to her Mr. Right. She is same age with me. We grow up together. We "ran for life" together when we were chased after by 2
tigers dogs. Well, I ran alone and she kept shouting from the back asking me to stop running so that the dog will stop chasing me. Yes, my childhood would be totally different without her. And, she is married now. Aw...You could only understand how touched and happy I was on her big day! *wiping tears off*
Carolyn, my precious friend, has just got married few days ago. I am not sure how many of you has a friend that is born on the same day with you and Carolyn is my "twin". We were classmates since in primary school. Too bad, I only attended the wedding reception in Kuching and did not make it to the church ceremony in Singapore. I know that's very bad of me being her twin. :(
Those weddings that we miss to attend, we felt sorry. But, can you try to photoshop our faces into some of your wedding photos, so that in years to come, when you look back your photos, there are us! He he he...How we wish to be as proud as Adipos to post up an entry telling you all, we are proud to witness all our friends' weddings!
I know what I did might not be enough but I really put all my effort in each and everyone of your weddings. Once, I wrote something with the title:
Time Not Enough in my blog, but I guess most of you got me wrongly. It is not my little baby make us have less time but it was caused by the events taking place one by one during the weekend which make us hardly had time to rest well. But that's worthwhile as we know that wedding is a lifetime experience for our friends! :)
Blog.I did 2 things that are contrary to my principles of blogging to this blog: writing paid post and publish my little boy's photo! This blog is supposed to record my stories, but I make use of it to earn money. ;Þ I have never published any photo in this blog before to keep myself an anonymous blogger and do not wish to expose my family and friends. However, I just could not resist to publish my baby boy photos here to share with you all. I am too proud of him. *blush*
