The happiest morning in 2011

On one fine morning, Aden wake up asking for milk, and I jumped off the bed to make for him.

When I was making the milk, he said this:
妈咪,我好喜欢你呀!

Before I responsed, ccw was complaining:
Aden, I always make milk for you, how come you never say that to me?

So, Aden is forced to say the same thing to ccw!

*KHIK*
Whenever I talked about it, ccw sure said he pandai "ambil hati"!
Jealous la, Aden was saying it based on what he felt! ;p

My son and Santa Claus

This year, we told my son about Santa Claus. An old man who gives out presents to all the good boys and girls on Christmas eve. The better you are, the bigger gift you get. However, it wont be too big as Santa Claus is giving gifts to many children.

We reminded Aden to be good boy almost everyday so that Santa Claus will include him in his list. I can see that he really try hard to behave!

Towards Christmas Day, I told Aden that he must like whatever Santa Claus gives to him so that he will continue to receive gift the following year.

We went to buy Buzz Lightyear for him as we know he loves it. It was quite a big box which is not suitable to put on bed. So we put it near door where Aden will get to see it the first thing in the morning before going out the room.

When he woke up on Christmas day, he sat up from bed turn his head right and left to search for gift, but he could not see any. He was sad and told us he wanted to go to popo's room. So, I said: OK, mummy still want sleep for a while. So, he grabbed his snowman and dolphin and pillow then got down the bed and moved towards the door. We were observing him. When he saw the gift, he just put down his snowman, dolphin and pillow, and moved the gift aside so that he can open the door. But the door is locked! So, I quickly jumped down the bed and offered to help. When I reached him, I acted surprise to see the gift.

Mummy: Aden, what is that?
Aden: A present.
Mummy: hmmm...how come there is a present here?
Aden: *rubbing his eyes* Someone simply put it and did not keep it.
Mummy: Whose gift?
Aden: Bulat koko de..(He saw me wrapping my nephews' gifts the night before)
Mummy: Huh? Mummy did not put his gift here. It is outside, this one is not Bulat koko de.
Aden: *awake abit*
Mummy: Is it from Santa Claus to Aden?
Aden: *Excited and nearly jumped up*
Papa: Aden got gift from Santa Claus? Let's open it and see what is inside!
Aden: *All brighten up* I want to open it! *Opening the gift* It is Buzz Lightyear!
Papa: Wow, Santa Claus knows you like Buzz Lightyear!
Aden: *happy*
Mummy: Go show your Buzz Lightyear to popo, tell her it is from Santa Claus!
Aden: *Get out the room happily with his new toy*

However, Buzz Lightyear was spoilt before Christmas end! The button was broken. Aden was crying because he has yet show to Bulat koko and all. So, papa told him maybe he could fix it. But after trying, mission fail. When we talk about it again...
Popo: Aden, why Santa Claus buy lousy toy for you?
Aden: Santa Clause is poor ma, he need to buy many toys for children.
Popo: Why he need to buy so many toys to children?
Aden: He wants to make them happy :)

Wow...my son! He really listen to every words we told him.

What could make my 3yo boy cries?

1. The loss of his car.

And there is another reason which I forgot to mention in my previous post which is Keropok!

He loves keropok! But it is junk food, which is not good for health. So, we do not really let him have it. As a result, he treats Keropok as his gold!

So, whenever people gave him keropok, he will eat slowly, take small bite so that the piece of keropok can last. And if people gave him more than a piece, he will always keep the last piece and bring back home to show popo with jolly face!

Aduh, as a mom, am abit heartache to see him so "kesian", it is just keropok! Sigh.

Then, 3 nights ago, his cousin gave him a small packet of keropok. So, he brought it home and showed me. Then he went downstair (I forbade him eating inside room/upstair), suddenly he cried like in pain again! When I asked what happened? He said he cant find the keropok plastic bag, I then found it and he cried again as he said how come it is empty? Popo already poured the keropok into container, but he wanted it inside the plastic bag. Popo put back the keropok then only he continued eating the 2 pieces of keropok in his hands! He was just too sad to think that what he is holding is the last 2 pieces and he not even want to finish them!

Poor boy!

3 years + 3 months + 17 days

It has been such a long while since I last recorded my son's development here.

Weight: 19kg
Height: 112cm

Physically, he does not look like a 3yo boy at all! He just look like a 4yo boy! My fil told me Aden is reaching my waist, very soon he will grow taller than me. My mom kept saying that he will soon grow taller than Bulat who is 2 years older. As for myself, when I was sitting with him at the back of the car last night, I also think that he is much older than 3yo by looking at him sitting upright quietly. Gosh, he is such a big boy now!

After nearly a year of hard work teaching him to recognise the number from 1-10, he can finally recognise 1-8! Last night, when I taught him 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16... he can actually add teen after 7 when I showed him 17, and the same to 18. When I showed him 20, he actually shouted out TWO-TEEN! LOL! Very proud of him!

He loves his cars. You will never know how much he love it until you get to know what happened tonight. When I was driving him home, he suddenly cried out at the back seat! He cried like he was in pain! Real painful type of cries. I was shocked and kept asking him what happened! I stopped at a junction. He just cried and when I raised my voice, he said his foot is painful! I was wondering what causing it and told him to take off his crocs, he did but he was still crying but softer. Then I told him let's find out what bite his foot when we got home and I need to pay attention on the road. But after a while,  he CRIED as loud as earlier on. I actually saw him reaching his hand into the car seat cushion searching for something before he cried again. So I asked him what happened? He finally told me that his toy car dropped into the "hole"! Then I told him, it is ok, I can take it out for him once we reach home. But he was still crying, the tears is flowing like a river. He said he scared that the sport car cant be found! I have to assure him that sure I can find it back for him and then only he turned to sob. I told him don't cry anymore as I need to drive home. He then asked: "Mommy, can my sport car still moving?" Sigh...all he has in his mind is - the sport car!

He is a good boy except that he is still waking up at night for milk! Omg! Sometimes, I really cant stand him waking up twice for milk! Even his little sis only wake up once! Fine. One bad habit of him, if we tried not to make him milk, he will kick us or cry, and we have no choice to continue "manja" him!

One sweet and cute thing, he knows how to explain his little sis's chinese name to others. He just learn it by listening from us for a few times and then suddenly we caught him telling people his sis's name, which chinese word of it, like this 一个雨,一个林. And, now, I am trying to teach him, how to tell people about his own name! Quite funny that he knows the sister's name but dunno his own right?

He is also getting more outgoing and less shy. He dare to talk to "jie jie" (stranger) met at a dining place and jiejie is speaking English! So, I told him to ask jiejie name, and he did that!

Love him heaps! :D

Buying birthday gifts for other children

Lil Moo-moo's and Bulat's birthday presents
Bring along Cola to choose the gift together. Bought a battery-operated toy for him. Cola didn't say much. Shortly after that, it was Bulat's 5th birthday. Bulat wants Bumblebee, but in order to avoid Cola asking for a bumblebee (he has Optimus Prime in comic version), so I bought Optimus Prime for him.

Cola was not very happy. He told me that he wanted Optimus Prime too, I explained to him, it is Bulat koko's birthday, so he got a present. Just like him, he got the Optimus Prime from gugu on his birthday. He sort of understand but after a while when he saw Bulat playing with the Optimus Prime, he will request for one again. Once, he said this in bitter voice: Mummy did not buy Optimus Prime for me le.

Cola's cousin's first birthday present

I brought Aden along to choose for the gift. I am not sure what to buy and saw that Thomas and friends set on discount, I thought it would be a great gift. I asked for Cola's opinion.

Mummy: Cola, you think didi will like this one?
Cola: This one is very expensive!
Mummy: ...
We always told him it is expensive when request for it. In order not to create conflict with what we had been telling him, I decided to choose another toy. I browse through the rack, found another interesting toy which has 2 sides, one side is telephone and the other side is a piano. So, I showed to Cola again.
Mummy: Cola, we buy this toy for didi, ok?
Aden: *He plays with the toy and then seems like fall in deep thought* Mummy, you did not buy for me!
Mummy: It is not your birthday!
Cola is very unhappy and sad.
At the end, I had to buy him one small car to cheer him up.

Cola's little uncle birthday present
Ccw chose to buy a big remote control car for this little uncle.
Aden thought he can play first then give to his uncle. But, we told him it is not for him, it is uncle's birthday present. He was crying all the way home! So pity! We told him, little uncle will be very happy upon receiving the gift and telling everybody that he got a gift grom Cola. Cola felt better but still couldn't accept the fact that he does not have the car! He was sobbing and crying while telling us he does not have the car!

That night, after giving the present to little uncle, Cola refused to go home. He insisted want to play with it. Lucky thing, after he played a while, he is happy again.

Well, we are trying to teach him the meaning of "giving is actually receiving". :)

Breast Pump

I want to share with you the breast pump that I am using. It is Philips Avent Single Electric Breast Pump which can be converted to manual breast pump. I actually prefer to use the manual breast pump rather than eletric. I find it handy and useful!

It is very easy to assemble and ready to use. No matter how smart the eletric breast pump can imitate your speed and suction, you will still find that you can easily maneuver the manual breast pump to pump at the speed and suction as you wish. As you are getting more familiar, you will find that the manual breast pump can pump faster than the electric breast pump.

The only drawback of the manual breast pump is that your fingers get really tired! But I can stand it as it can do its job very well.

I strongly recommend Avent Manual Breast Pump to those who want to try to breastfeed baby.

p/s: If you want to buy Avent Manual Breast Pump, please let me know. I can help you to get a cheaper one. :)

Breastfeeding

Actually I did breastfeed baby Cola for about 3 weeks. The reason I stopped is because I am lazy to express milk. But then it is also due to the production is low. So, I got advice from people that milk will reduce if you do not let baby latch on. Oh well, I do not care because I am not into breastfeeding at all!

For Princess Meimei, I am planning to do the same - breastfeed her until the milk stops. At first, I did try to let her latch on, but the experience is not too good. So, I decided to pump and feed her using bottle instead. Surprisingly, I am still on breastfeeding today as the milk supply never stop nor reduce.

Now, if you asked me how I found about beastfeeding. Honestly, I think the only benefit is that I can make sure my baby get balanced nutrients. It does not really save up much money after spending on breast pump, breast pad, nursing bra, breast milk storage bottles/cups/bags, cooler bag, lactating formula or supplements. Well, of course most of the items I mentioned are reusable for those who plan to have more than 1 child. Furthermore, it takes time to express milk. For me, I spend about 2 hours daily in the exercise of expressing milk. Previously, during the confinement, I think I spent at least 6 hours a day to pump milk. If time is equal to money, then I should say breastfeeding is expensive. Some more, it is tiring!

Alamak, I really sound very discouraging in this post. Very sorry to those who are planning to breastfeed your babies. But to look at this on a bright side, despite of how much I dislike breastfeeding, I am still expressing milk everyday for more than 2 months. I hope this part is motivating you! :)

0 -1 month old

To be fair, mommy will record the growth and development of Princess Meimei in my blog too. ^^

0-month-old
Physical:
Weight: 2.98kg (The doctor told me to round it up and I will get a 3kg baby)
Length: 48cm

Sleep:
Not sure if girl require more attention, she can hardly sleep on her own. I need to cuddle her to make her sleep. But lucky thing, she sleeps well at night. :)

Feeding:
Drink 2-2.5oz milk every 3 hours.

Interesting parts:
She is a smiley baby. She not only smile in her dreams, but also smile when she is awake. She smiles when we talk to her. She smiles when I have cleaned her up after passed motion.
She cries when hungry.
She refuses to take pacifier!

Remarks:
Consider as a good girl even though she does not sleep much in the day time, but maybe it is because of the bro making too much noise.
Mommy is busy "zhng" her up like a barbie when she got time.

1-month-old
Physical:
Weight: 4.1kg
Length: 53cm

Sleep:
Still have difficulties to sleep during day time but sleep at night. She only wake up for milk once or twice at night.

Feeding:
Drink 3oz every 2-3 hours.

Interesting parts:
She will make some noise early in the morning with her eyes closing, if you call her name, she will immediately wake up and smile!
She can make sound "ang goo", "ay".
She will respond, both making sound as if talking and also smiling, to you when you talk to him.
Taken her second injection, she cried her lung out. Poor girl. But, no fever.

Remarks:
She is a babe! We just cant stop talking to her as she is so responsive.

Second childbirth experience

My expected due date is 15th July. Baby is too comfortable inside my tummy until past the expected due date.

My doctor is very concerned about it. He suggested me to induce birth. Even though I did not like the idea at all as I was told that induce labour is much more painful but considering the points he listed out:
1. Baby will keep growing and it is difficult to give birth to big baby naturally.
2. Baby is matured, and the environment inside the uterus is no longer good for baby. Reason being is food supply from placenta might be not enough.
3. As the water level is dropping, less space inside uterus for fetus to move, the umbilical cord might get twisted around and harms the baby during childbirth.

So, I gave in.

Doctor had a tight schedule, I was scheduled to induce at 1am on 19 September.

I started to feel the contraction at a quarter to 6 in the morning. After having breakfast and shower, ccw and I went to see my doctor.

At 8:30am, the dilation has just started. The pain level has reach 3-4 (based on my 1st childbirth pain rating) already. I was quite worried, I seriously doubted that if I could stand the pain! At around 9am, I really think I should get epidural before it is too late! We inform the doctor, but he gave me painkiller shot instead. That is much better. But it last for less than 30 minutes, and the pain is killing me again! Deep down inside me, I was praying that I wont pass out before I can push the baby out. Suddenly, I felt that the baby's head was pushing out. Ccw informed the doctor and he came to check. The dilation is 4-5cm. He reminded me to keep my mouth open to breath and not to push while giving me another shot of painkiller. It is around 10:30am by then. After 5 minutes rest, we rushed to hospital.

The hospital staff wheeled me into the labour room, the nurse helped me to undress and dress me up in the patient clothes. Doctor also got his attire changed and ccw fleed himself from the registration counter. Actually the staff insisted ccw to complete the registration before allowing him to go into the labour room. By then, it is already 11am.

Doctor and nurse adjusted the bed, then gave me the laughing gas and taught me how to use it. Then I was told to push when the next contraction is here. So, the next time contraction come, I gave a push, but not using too much energy as I was wondering why he never break the waterbag first. Opps. Then after that he broke it. So, I tried another push but nothing come out. For the third time, I push hard and long and just before i gave up, ccw told me he saw the bb head, so I continued pushing, and the baby's head is out! Baby is born at 11:12am. Everything just happened too fast. It is another unforgettable experience for us.

My conclusion on why induce labour is more painful. Induce labour is very painful but it shortens the whole progress. So the level of pain increase every time the contraction strikes whereas without induce, the pain level remains for an hour or longer before it goes up to another level during the contraction period. It takes shorter time to complete dilation than natural birth. However, after experience the second childbirth, I actually recommend my friends to go for caesarean section instead. HA-HA!

And here is my little princess:
ImageFinally, let me end this post with the best phrase for childbirth: No pain, No gain.

The double-sided flash cards

While teaching my son to recognise numbers using flash cards, he also wants to teach his snowman and dolphin. So, I pretended to be dolphin and snowman to response to him.

In order to make sure he can really recognise 1-5, I make sure he teaches both dolphin and snowman each of the number before I (represent dolphin and snowman) answer to his question.

I complained him if he asked dolphin or snowman the number that he had yet to teach them and refuse to answer. Meaning to say, I have to be quite alert. However, I was trapped by him.

He turned over the the flash card with number 5 and showied dolphin the other side of the flash card which has apples on it. I (as the dolphin) answered that it is 5 and he laughed!! I asked him WHY? And he showed me the "apples"! He said these are apples! Not 5! #^&%&%&!

Counting down

Moving into week 36 this Friday, which means 4 more weeks / 28 days more to go before I am upgraded to Mother of two!

Thinking back when I first get to know I am pregnant, I got mixed feelings. I am happy as I have been always "dreaming" to have a baby girl. But getting pregnant does not means that I will have a baby girl, it could be a baby boy too! Having second child also mean that Aden is not going to be the only one! I feel sorry for him. Hmm...

Over the pass 35 weeks, our little dot as scanned for the first time on 21st Nov 2010, which is estimated 3.63mm with heartbeat, has developed into a fetus that weighed 2kg (week 34 scan) with different body parts and organs developed during each scan. She is doing well according to the doctor.

As for myself, besides from watching my belly grows and weight increases, I miss carrying Aden and do things together with him. He is so cute and seem like can understand it. He is showing patient waiting for the arrival of our little baby too. At first , he is not very ready to have younger brother or sister, but later he is proud to announce to everyone that he is going to become a big brother. Everytime he talked about himself being a brother, he will stand up straight and ask us if he has grow up already or not.

Now, as the expected due date is drawing nearer, we are getting things ready. Preparing stuff that needed by the newborn, not forgetting to mentally prepare Aden with the arrival of newborn too. I believe he is waiting for the day when mummy goes to hospital to deliver baby and he stayed at home with popo and then go to fetch mummy and baby from hospital together. =)

Dear meimei,

haha...I still prefer to call you as meimei but no worry about the gender, I have prepared you with both boy and girl's items. Anything that is lack off, we can go shopping together after you are born! =)

Like what your brother said: We will see whether you are a baby girl or boy when you are born.

Enjoy your final 4 weeks stay in my womb and grow healthily and happily. You are going to see the world soon.

Muacks.

Inside bedroom, Aden was sitting on the bed.

He is very good boy, right?
Aden: Oh, I want bumble bee! I want a big one like the one you bought for r2! (I bought a big Optimus Prime for r2 as birthday gift this year)

Aden: I do not have bumble bee yet.

Me and Transformer

Yes, I know how to "play" with transformer because I have a son.

*slap on forehead*

I don't like robot. I never know who is Optimus Prime! Bumble Bee, Megathron.

But, my son got a few robots that can turn into vehicles and vice versa!

So, he wants a robot now but then he wants it to become a vehicle the next minute!

He will bring the robot to you and said MUMMY, wo yao bian che che..wo yao bian robot.

Mummy took the robot and turn and twist, turn and twist, neither look like a robot nor a car. Pass it to papa. Papa took whole night to turn and twist and finally the robot come out. Pass it back the son and the next minute, the son passes it back to the dad and said he wants it to become a car! Sometimes, we even need to seek help from ccw's cousin.

Finally, on one fine day, I learn how to do all the turning and twisting! Now, I can spend less than 5 minutes to fix the Optimus Prime. I feel so proud of myself. I told ccw, I never expect myself to know anything about Transformer!

Moving into week 32 today!

By right, second pregnancy could have less excitement, since I have gone through the process once. However, that's not the case. Partly, it is because of my son's involvement throughout this pregnancy. His companion has added some spices on this journey. Also, the doctor is giving us surprise.

From the beginning of the pregnancy, my son acts like a big boy and is proud to announce that he grows up already and going to become a koko. He will do things like a big boy because he is going to be a koko. For example, he can drink from cup or has bigger appetite and taking more rice. Later, he also show that he cares about the baby. For example, he will talk to baby at night or whenever he remember about it. He will ask me or directly to the baby what is she/he doing?

Now, towards the end of the pregnancy, he is even sweeter. I bought some clothes for baby and told him that I am going to show it to waipo when we were at home. But I forgot to bring them when we were on the way to waipo's house. He suggested we turned back to take it! Then later, when we went home, he asked me if I remembered to take the clothes. Imagine, after one whole night playing at waipo's house, he can still remember those clothes!

My mom washed the baby clothes and ready for me to sort out and bring back. Aden saw me sorting out and then putting them back into the bag, he quickly offered to help me despite of he is a abit clumsy and mess up the nicely folded baby clothes. He also insisted to help the dad to carry the big bag of clothes from the car into the house.

I am so blessed.

As the surprise from the doctor, during week 23 scan, he told us that our baby is a boy. It took me a day to get over it as I am hoping to have a girl. I know it is not what I can choose but there is this hope.

During Week 29 scan, doctor scanned and told us that it looks like a girl that I am having! I do not put too much hope in it though and I told Aden that our baby could be a girl. But, we shall wait till baby is born to know the gender. Aden is like a real big boy! When my mil asked him about the gender of the baby. He answered her that we need to wait till the baby is born to know is didi or meimei. Can you imagine the little boy who is only 2yo+ telling this? Hehe..

At Week 31, I asked the doctor to check on the gender again. He told me 90% is a girl! We once again call our baby meimei. The thought of not having any girlie clothes/items at home urge me to go for shopping! I hope this is not just a dream.

The doctor also put a remark on the report book saying: Normal fetal growth rate. This is also make me feel relief. As I monitor the growth, I noticed that the estimated weight is always less than Aden's. I am worried that the baby is small as I know that baby's size could be less than the estimated weight. Well, I am not hoping that my baby is big size, but at least around Aden's weight when he is born.

I am glad that my bb is doing well.

8 more weeks to go!

To meimei,

Papa, mummy and koko are waiting for you! Koko has even tested out the musical toys and they are still functioning well. Don't worry, you got new one too! =)

My Birthday 2011

My pil brought Aden to the bakery and bought me a cake.

At night, when we returned home, ccw asked Aden what he bought for me.

He skipped in excitement. He told me to close my eyes while walking into the room to take the cake.

I was so surprised that he actually told me to "close my eyes"!

Then, come the cake. He sit together with me while blowing off the candles and cut the cake as if it was his birthday! He really enjoy birthday with cake!

Later, while eating the cake, he asked whether I closed my eyes when they sing birthday song. LOL! No one singing birthday song! So, I have to tell him that no one is singing birthday song, so I did not close my eyes!

Oh, he is such a darling!

As usual, my birthday is too close to the Mother's Day. On my birthday, we actually celebrated Mother's Day at my grandma's house together with my aunties and uncles and cousins! There are about 70 of us. My mom and aunts decided to cook my grandma great meal this year. My grandma has 13 children, 7 daughters and 6 sons. So, each of the daughter prepare 1 - 2 dishes. According to my mom, my grandma seldom has chance to eat what they cook, so they just decided to play with "masak-masak" this year!

Each family will have to bring their own plates and rice as the aunties claimed that it is the easy way for themselves to estimates how much rice is needed! This is such a cute and warming gathering. I was looking forward to it!

Well done to my mom and aunties! They are all very good cook! Nice dinner we had!

Aden fell sick on my birthday! Last year, he was sick too! I wonder why?! This year, it took him about a week to recover! My poor boy! I was really exhausted as could not get enough sleeps at night.

Lastly, I just wish that everyone stay healthy especially my new baby! :)

My son's first 3-words English phrase

Yesterday morning, before ccw brought Aden downstair, he turned to me and said: 妈咪,等下你睡醒你下来ha。 Mummy, you come down when you wake up later.

I replied him: "Ok."

Then he said: "See you later."

I am surprised by him even though we have been using this phrase since he is small, but never really make him to pick it up. This is the first 3-words English phrase that he used.

变弟弟了

During the week 23 visit, doctor asked Aden whether he wants a brother or sister. Aden told the doctor that he wants a sister because he was somehow brainwash by the mom (ME!).

Then, after scanned, the doctor told him that he is going to have a brother to kick football with.

Luckily, Aden can accept the fact quite well. LOL

Then on the way back, I told him to tell waipo about the gender. He took several deep breath before he managed to say out "di-di"!

When we reached home, he told my mil that doctor said mei-mei is now become di-di (变弟弟了/bian di di liao)

Now, whenever people ask him whether he wants a di di or mei mei, he will tell them: doctor said baby is didi. :)

Good news

I am carrying my second baby and in week 23 now. :)

This pregnancy is different from the first time. I suffered from morning sickness. Vomit a few times during the first trimester and once in a while in second trimester. Pimples break out during early pregnancy. Hopefully it is not as bad as the first pregnancy towards the end.

Belly bulged before third month and everyone knows I am pregnant. Worse case, air stewardess thought I cheat them by saying I am only 9 weeks into pregnancy. LOL

Weight gain is under control this round, increase 4kg so far.

Baby is developing well according to the doctor. His current weight is 445g. Oh ya, doctor scanned and told Aden that most probably he is going to have a little brother who can play football together.

Poor Aden, I hope he can accept the fact that he is getting a didi instead of a meimei as I previously told him it could be meimei!

Didi is more active compare to Aden last time. I can always feel his kicking and punching or dancing inside my womb. Hmm...I am going to be a mother of 2 sons soon!

Stay tuned for updates! ;p

我要粘着你

For three mornings, Aden woke up and tried to stop me from going to work.

He grabbed my hand or put my hand on his head or lean over to me or just grabbed my thumb and then told me that he is sticking to me! Meaning, I cant leave him if he continued to stick on me.

McDonald 's

Watching TV with Aden on a Friday night, it was showing the McD advertisement and suddenly Aden pointed at the burger and told me that he wanted to eat bao bao.

Well, he had never tasted burger before and I must say that the Taiwan McD advertisement is a successful one.

After taking bath, we decided to go shopping, thinking to buy a replacement for the broken chair at home. While we were on the way to the shopping mall, Aden requested for bao bao again. Really surprise me that he still remember what he said.

So, we went to McD. There was long queue and Aden waited impatiently. We got him a happy meal. =) I don't know whether Uncle McDonald proud of himself or not, but the meal really make my son happy. He played with the new toy while eating cheeseburger.

He was too concentrate with the toy and dropped his bao bao.

Now, guess what is his reaction?
A. Cried and asked for a another burger. No!
B. Kept silent. No!
C. Remained calm and told the dad to go and get another one for him while he continued playing with his new toy! Bingo!

So, the boy still don't value money. Haha

By the way, I think he finished half of a burger. Good appetite.

As a mama, I enjoyed watching him eating ...

P/S: After we returned home, when he dragged his chair and removed the pillow on top of it and found that it is still the same old broken chair, he exclaimed: We havent bought the chair! *giggle*

不爽

Incident #1:

I always have something to say about ccw's driving skill.

Aden fell down inside the car not only once due to his clumsiness. Most of the time, I will lecture CCW.

However there was once, when Aden fell off from the seat due to the bumpy road and Aden did not sit properly.

When we managed to pull him up, he asked: Mummy, 是爸爸随便驾吗? (Papa simply drive, right?)

Incident #2:

2 nights ago, when ccw changed Aden into his pyjamas, somehow hurt Aden's head while pulling out the shirt.
Once the shirt was took off, Aden questioned ccw: 你不能够慢一点的meh?! (You cannot do it slower meh?!)

你真麻烦

During CNY, my sil came back from Singapore. Aden would look for her from time to time.

Then there was a night, we reached home and did not see my sil at home. So, Aden decided to give her a call and checked her location.

Aden: 姑姑,你在哪里?(gugu, ni zai na li?) kuku, where are you?
Gugu: 我去看戏 。(wo qu kan xi.) I go for a movie.
Aden: 你又去看戏?你真麻烦啊!Byebye. (ni you qu kan xi liao ha? ni zhen ma fan ah! Byebye)
You go for movie again? You are so troublesome! Byebye

p/s: This is a backdate post. Just want to keep a record of some phrase that Aden used for the first time! :)
