Weight: 7.5kg Hooray! She is heavier!
Height: 73cm

Sleep:
Sleep at ard 9:00pm. Wake up for milk twice. I don't mind it at all, just hoping that she can put on more weight!

Feeding:
Milk (4oz)
Taking Enfapro fully now.

Porridge for lunch and dinner.

Enjoy eating fruits and biscuits.
She is fed with Kolomee too when we have breakfast outside.

Interesting parts:
* Learning eyes, nose, ears and tongue in mandarin.
* She is very active.
* She is very daring to "walk" and let herself fall after taking a few steps!
* She will cry for milk if she saw her bro drinking it.
* We have very hard time to make her sleep at night! Whenever I was too tired, I would rather swing her to sleep instead of patting her on bed.
* If you scolded her, she will show your very pity face, control herself from crying out. But if she failed and started crying, it is hard to stop her. She will cry as hard as she wants!
* She is very smart girl, she knows who to turns to at night and during day time. At night, she will call "mummy~" to wake me up from sleep and make her milk. Then after she finished her milk, she will call again "mummy~" to pass me the bottle. If I did not go get the bottle from her, she can go on and on calling me. But, if the daddy attend to her at night, she will cry. If the daddy try to pat her, she will try to remove his hand or avoid his touch by moving away! During day time, she will call for papa and popo as she knows they are better playmate than mummy!

Something about Princess Adele

Princess Adele is turning 1-year-old this month.

Weight: ±7kg (maintaining this weight for months!)
Length: 70cm

Sleep:
Sleep at ard 9:00pm. Wake up for milk once.

Feeding:
Milk (5oz)
Trying to change her milk to Enfalac/Enfapro.
Bought Karihome Step 3 for her to try.


Porridge for lunch and dinner.

Interesting parts:
* 4 teeth grows at the same time when she is around 10-months-old.
* She loves mommy the most when she is around 8-11-months-old. Later, she prefers daddy.
* Fell sick during 11-months-old. First time having fever and stomachache and followed by rashes all over the body. Wake up at night and cant get back to sleep. Sticked to me when she refused to get back to sleep unless separate her from me by force.
* She loves to call Papa the most! She can call mama too.
* She also knows how to say book-book, dog-dog, pah-pah (scared), na na na (take), gei gei gei (give).
* She knows how to do the vroom sound like Aden too. Girl also play with car. :)
* She is active. We have problem to place her in car seat or stroller. Once, she glided down from her stroller at Parkson. *Thumbs up*
* She can hardly sit still when I carried her in car.
* She knows the song twinkle twinkle little star, she will do the blinking star action using her hand and follow the song.
* If the brother is singing, she will try to hum along.
* She loves to play with the brother.
* She can stand with support and learning to move her steps.
* She cannot stand the sight of me hugging Aden, she will cried out loud and pointing at me, wanting me to carry her. Sometimes, when I carried her, she will try to push the bro away. LOL!
* If she were told to "sayang" rabbit, she will pat on the rabbit. If she were told to "baobao" rabbit, she rest her head on the rabbit. Once, we went to my fil's friend's house. Adele saw the same rabbit at his house. She pointed to it and kept making noise to tell us that it is hers.
* She also knows how to drive you around, she points here and there to make you move to that direction.
* She throws her pacifier away when she does not want to sleep.
* She understand ma-ma (scold) and da-da (hit). If she sees we are stern, she will start to make the crying face as pity as she can.
* She is speeding in her walker too.

Remarks:
All in all, Princess Adele is more active compare to Aden. Aden is quiet and observant type while Adele is curious and adventurous type.

This is our 5th Wedding Anniversary.
I was asking ccw, are we celebrating paper or cotton wedding? He then told me, we are too early to celebrate anything wo.

So I googled, and found the below:

Yes, we are actually celebrating something more firm and solid compare to paper or cotton, which is WOOD wedding!

Ccw actually bought tickets for us to celebrate the anniversary at Langkawi but it clashed with our son's first sports day at school. Both of us do not want to miss it. So, we decided to stay back.

But, we managed to take half day off to "pak toh".
We went for shopping peacefully from one mall to another.
When we stopped at the traffic light,
ccw: Wow, we are very fast today without the kids.
me: *laugh*
ccw: the fat boy always lazy to walk and need to carry.
me: the daughter always cant sit still and cry.
ccw: then the fat boy always find things to cry over.
me: yeah, we go out without them!

Well, even though the kids are not physically with us, but they are always with us mentally. Ciak-lat.

We buy clothes. Try them out happily without having to chase after the fat boy.

We had ding cha and berrylite yoghurt without having to control how much the fat boy want to have it.

We left the mall without the need to seek for permission from the fat boy.

The pak toh session ended with a meal at Top Spot - Bukit Mata 25, which we used to go when we were dating each other, which is now too hot for the kids to go there.
We ordered 2 big crabs! Each cooked with different sauce: butter + egg yolk and black pepper. We can enjoy the crabs slowly as we do not need to handle the kids.

We also order o-chien and buttered sotong ring (deep fried calamari with butter sauce) which we always try to avoid when we went out with kids, as they are too heaty for them.

Yum~~~~~

That's how we celebrate the day without flying! Hehe..

p/s: It has been ages since I last shop for clothes with ccw. Hmm...married life with kids! LOL!

I don't want to get married next time!

On one fine day, when we were sitting at the living room watching TV in the evening.

The TV was showing Taiwan Program hosted by 黑人陈建州 and 徐薇.

Aden: 妈咪，我以后不要结婚。 (Mummy, I dont want to get married next time.)
Mummy: *????* 为什么？ (Why?)
Aden: *pointing at the TV* 因为boy很高，girl很矮。(Because boy is tall and girl is short!)
Mummy: ...

This is not the first time he told me about it.

When we watched Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding broadcast on TV, I was telling Aden that next time, you will get married like them too. He told me that he does not want to get married and the reason being is he not dare to stay together with a stranger (refer to the bride)!

Kids say the dundest things!

My son missed my wedding!

Aden: 妈咪，你结婚了没？(Are you married?)
妈咪： 结婚了。 (Yes, I am)
Aden： *不开心* 为什么你没有等我出世？ (*Unhappy* Why you did not wait for me?)
妈咪： 做么勒？你要来妈咪的婚礼？(Why? You want to attend my wedding?)
Aden： 嗯！(Yes)
爸爸： 有video勒。等回家给你看video好吗？(Got video. We show you the video later, ok?)
Aden： 好。 (OK)
妈咪： Aden，你知道妈咪跟谁结婚吗？ (Aden, do you know mommy married to who?)
Aden： *想了一下* 跟爸爸。 (*thinking* Papa)
妈咪: 对了。 你怎么会知道？ (Correct, how do you know?)
Aden： *很得意* 因为我们房间有一张照片， 我每天都看一次，所以我知道。 (*Proud* Because there is a photo in our room, I look at it everyday, that's why I know)

Adele's 8-months-old

Physical:
Weight: 7kg

Sleep:
Sleep at around 9:30pm. Wake up once for milk.
Not easy to fall asleep at night if she is not "tired enough". The task to make her sleep requires patient that I have. Daddy has to do it.
A few times, Daddy also lose his patient and complains.

Feeding:
7am: Milk (2-3oz)
9-9:30am: Milk (4oz)
Around 12noon: Porridge (1 small bowl)
2pm: Milk (2oz)
5pm: Porridge (1 small bowl)
7-8pm: 3-4oz
9-10pm: 3-4oz
4-5am:3-4oz
New food introduced to her: Banana, Grapes, Apples. Porridge with meat, beans and vegetables.


Interesting parts:
* Within the 2 months, she has done very well and achieved many milestones
* She learn to pull herself up to sitting position.
* The slowly, she can crawl a short distance.
* She surprised me that she can stand up in her cot by holding to the bar on her cot!
* Heard her saying "papa","dada'.
* Enjoying shouting at each other with Aden! She can be real loud!
* Wake up early morning, and make a lot of noise so that we will let her out from her cot!
* Can accept people like waipo, waigong, jiujiu, kiumei besides from people at home.
* She can wave goodbye now.
* So far, she is not into any toys. Whatever I show / give to her can only last for 10-15mins, then she shows no interest to it anymore except for books! She can sit there and play with the book for quite some time. Got once, we brought her to bookstore. She saw the books on rack, after a while she started to cry softly for it. We gave her one and she stopped crying immediately. Adele dropped her book and the bookstore announced they are closing, so I did not pick it up for her but walked out the store instead. She cried pitifully as I walked away. Everyone was looking at her, by the time I stopped down to take a look at her, i found her teary eyes! Aw...

Remarks:
She pooed at the clinic during right before it is her turn for checkup. I just brought her into the consultation room. When it is time to put her on scale, I told the nurse that she has poo in diaper, so we cant remove diaper for weighing that day. The nurse comment that she is so good girl that she did not cry because uncomfortable. Ya, the nurse never know she can even sleep through the night with poo in diaper. Opps!

Adele's 6-months-old

Physical:
Weight: 6.45kg
Length: 63cm

Sleep:
Sleep at around 8:30pm. Still wake up 2 or 3 times at night for milk.
Always do her business in the middle of the night! Argh! What a bad habit.

Feeding:
Introduce solid food to her.
Nestle rice cereal + porridge with potatoes/carrots.
Solid food as lunch and dinner.
She loves solid food very much!
Milk intake is reduced after taking solid food.(3-4oz)

Interesting parts:
    * Throughout the month she is getting stronger on her limbs. Able to support her body from touching the mattress.
    * Still refuse others to carry her.
    * No teeth yet.
    * Fell sick, caught the flu. Went for nebulizer twice, she was very cooperative.

Remarks:
She loves her bro, as long as she sees him, she is all happy!

Languages

From watching Aiyoyo's video, my son learns 3 sentences:
The banana is taste good.
The pear is yummy.
The lemon is sour.

Shocked when I first heard him saying it out while eating banana! LOL!

He also learns some phrases/words from shcool teacher:
Good behaviour
Winner
Bad smell
and even Mimosa!

I teach him something too while telling him story:
Oh no!
Oh dear!

And he can use them correctly!


From school teacher, he learns a few chinese characters.
大 小 人

Last night, while I was telling him the story of 司马光打破缸, I tested on him, and he can read the 3 characters correctly. So as a bonus, I teach him another word which is 头.


Oh ya, he intended to read from right to left. We are trying to correct him now. Previously we just ignore this as we thought we should just encourage him more to read out aloud. :)

3-days fulltime mommy and daddy course

Pil went on a 3 days vacation and that means ccw and I have to take care of the 2 children fulltime for the very first time!

Summary of the 3 days course:

17 March 2012 (Saturday)
Pil left in the afternoon. Aden insisted to send them off t airport. After that, I brought Aden and Adele to my mom's place.
They took afternoon nap there and later Aden followed jiujiu's family to Bulat's piano class. So I took the time to bath and feed Adele. When Aden came back, he was so excited and telling me that he played piano and so on. I am intended to send him to piano class, but he refused to go previously. Now, he told me he wants to go but when he is older! ;P

After having dinner at my mom's place, we left at 8pm as we thought daddy was alone at home. But Ben was with him when we reached home!

Aden and Adele slept early that night. LOL! And I have more free time!


18 March 2012 (Sunday)
First thing we do is to bath the 2 monkeys in the morning. After that, we went out for breakfast.

I think we reached home before 12noon that day. Ccw quickly cooked porridge for little Adele. :) Ccw is very proud that Adele wants to eat what he cooked. Recalling few years back, when Aden refused to take what ccw cooked, I have to "supervise" him in the kitchen! *Funny*

Then it is the afternoon nap time for the kids and FREE time for the parents. Yeah...but we also take a short nap! ;p

When they wake up again, we bathed the kids and dress them up. While waiting for ccw to get ready to go out, I brought the 2 monkeys to waipo's house.

We had dinner at Elephant. As usual, Aden enjoyed the pasta and oreo milkshake there! He ordered orange juice, but later after take a sip of the oreo milkshake, he told me this: Mummy, *pointing at the glass of oreo milkshake* you and I share share this! And, he drank it all! @@

The next activity is to go shopping! Trying to get a gift for my dad on his bday! But we cant find any yet.

The 2 kids fell asleep quite fast. Seemed like they do not get enough sleeps during day time.

19 March 2012 (Monday)
School holiday is ended and Aden has to go to school today.
Ccw wake up early to buy his breakfast.

I bathed Aden and dressed him up. Ccw sent him off to school. He was very cooperative.

Then, we brought Adele out and had breakfast. Woo...enjoying our breakfast on Monday! LOL

Then we went home and let Adele to take her nap. Ccw cooked porridge! In the blink of an eye, it is time to pick up Aden from school! When we reached school, there was not many car yet. And we met waigong who came to fetch Bulat. I got down the car and walked towards the classroom. Aden saw me! He quickly got up from where he sits. I can tell that he was very happy to see me there. The class went uncontrol with my arrival. ROF!

I have a feeling that the teacher was not very happy with me! ;p

Aden grabbed his shoes and bag and walked towards the teacher. Then the other children also do the same. They gathered near the door. Aden told his little friends that: Look, she is my mommy! LOL! Proud-nya!
Then, I decided to walk further to wait for him.
Maybe most of my son's classmate are picked up by parents everyday. That's why he got so excited when he saw me.

We then had lunch nearby. Aden had really good appetite.

That evening, I put on my new jogging shoes and we went to MBKS park for a jog. When we reached there, I noticed the place is actually not suitable for jogging. The path is not smooth. Some of the tiles came off. Before I warned Aden, he was already fell down. Sigh!

I checked his knees, hoping not bleeding too much. He was there asking me: Mommy, am I going to be alright?

ROF!!

Luckily, it is not as serious as I thought, just the knee slightly scratched. Of course, it is painful to the little boy. He cant walked properly after that. Whenever he looked at the wound, he would start to sob and ask me if the wound on his knee is going to heal. He blamed the dad for bringing to "lousy" park! LOL! The dad bought him waterproof plaster which works like magic later. ;p

He waited for popo and gong2's flight that night because they promised to buy him "egg" with "car" inside it.

The end of the course.

I always wonder will it be as fun if I quit my job and become a housewife?!

5-month-old

Physical:
Weight: 6.1kg


Sleep:
The sleeping pattern is always the same. Very good.

Feeding:
Hard to tell how much she takes as she cant finish the milk most of the time. ;p

Interesting parts:
She is always a smiley, cheerful, happy little girl.
She just smile whenever we call her name.
She learns to shout for attention, her voice is getting louder and louder.
Her flipping skill is very good, can flip from back to tummy then flip back again.
She also showed us that she wants to eat when seeing us eating.

4 months old

Physical:
weight: 6kg


Sleep:
Sleep at around 9:00pm. Daughter loves daddy more! Some of the nights, ccw helps to make Princess Meimei sleep. Wake up once at night for milk, mostly around 4-5am in the morning. :)

Feeding:
Drink 4oz every 3 hours.

Interesting parts:

• She can turn over already.
• She has yummy toes. The ways she sucks her toes is like doing acrobat.
• She likes to shout. 

I am SICK

Took 2 days sick leave from work, but still not yet recover and am suffering at the air-con room!

Aden is very caring. Everyday after school, he will check if I got better.

Aden: 妈咪，你生病好了没有？
妈咪：还没有：（
Aden：不用紧。你有吃药。你会慢慢好的。
妈咪：:)

Aden: Mummy, are you getting better?
Mummy: No, I am still sick. :(
Aden: Nevermind, you take medicine, then you will gradually recover.
Mummy:　：）

My little angel

I was telling ccw I got stomach ache and then Aden was trying to comfort me.

Aden: 妈咪，你肚子痛？
Mummy： *点头+可怜的表情*
Aden： 妈咪，我以前有肚子痛吗？
Mummy： 有。
Aden： 妈咪，做么我会肚子痛？
Mummy： 因为你总是吃不好的东西咯。
Aden： 妈咪，我好了没有？
Mummy： 好了。
Aden： *拍我的肩膀* 妈咪，不用紧，会好的。 好吗？


Aden: Mummy, you got stomach ache?
Mummy： *nodding, show pity face*
Aden： Mummy, last time I also got stomach ache, right?
Mummy： Yes.
Aden： Mummy, why I got it?
Mummy： Because you always take unhealthy food.
Aden： Mummy, am I alright now?
Mummy： Yeap.
Aden： *patting my shoulder* Mummy, don't worry, you will be alright. Ok?

He is trying to tell me what cause the stomach ache just like when I was telling him how he got it.

He reflects everything of us!

Conversation with teacher

老师：你们喜欢吃榴槤吗？
佳宸：喜欢！我的妈咪也是很喜欢吃榴莲!

Teacher: Do you all like durians?
Aden: Yes, I like! My mom also like to eat durian!

p/s: Because of GongGong stays back at the kindy to accompany Aden, we got to know more about what is happening at the school! I hope GongGong does not get addicted to go to school! :D

Mission Accomplished!

That is referring to breastfeeding!

I have breastfed my second child for 6 months!

It is tough! Once again, salute to all the mama out there who breastfeed their babies!

Now, I do not have tips for you on how to breastfeed for such a long period, but if I can do it, I am sure you can do it too! 

佳宸上学了

我鼓励他要多跟老师交流。
有东西不懂就请教老师。
有东西不会做就请老师帮忙。
老师问他东西，就必须回答。
如果老师听不到他讲的话，那就要大大声讲。

这几天，公公都陪孙子上学。他听到佳宸在课室里跟老师的对话，回来转述给我们。

其中最有趣的一段对白：
老师： 佳宸，你有洗脸吗？
佳宸： 没有，妈咪有而已。

天真的佳宸以为洗脸的意思是上美容院的那种。后来，我就告诉他，他冲凉时也有洗脸。

上了近两星期的课，他学还蛮多东西的。每天都有学新的东西，看他嘴里念着再配合肢体动作，可爱极了。

还有，今天终于不哭了!

Aden's first day to school

Lalala...On leave in the morning, because it is Aden's first day to school. He took bath, put on school uniform, had breakfast, and tried to "bargain" with me that he does not want to go to school. Then, we managed to make him go into the car and drove to school. The roads leading to the school are partially flooded. But, we still managed to drive through and reached the school junction. From afar, I saw that the school gate is closed! Then I realised the road ahead is flooded about the height of the knee where car cant reach. That's my son's first day to school! Hahaa

When we reached home, popo asked if he wanted to go school if there is no flood? He said: Yes! We shall wait and see then!

Ahhh...and I ended up doing preparation towards the flood with my precious leave. :D
