I've pretty much been keeping everyone up to date
on Facebook.... so my blog has become extremely
out of date. Anyway, here are some pictures of my
GORGEOUS grandson! He is so perfect & extremely
yummy! I just can't stand that he is so far away.

It will be at La Caille in Sandy, Utah.


I'm so excited to get some fun pics of her when I'm up there!
Especially with the gorgeous backdrop I will have access to at

I am Wendy... yes I AM!

Makiah swears she is "Wendy" ... you know, the red haired chick who's dad is Dave Thomas, the founder of the burger joint that he named after his daughter??? Yeah... THAT Wendy!

She begs me to take her to Wendy's while wearing this "get up" so she can get free food. She also likes to walk around our neighborhood, taking her pet duck for a walk... dragging it on a yarn leash.

Kiah has also decided that with all her experience making commercials for Wendy's she now is a spokes model for BIO CHEF deoderant. "Don't just eat your favorite food, smell like it!"

I guess you could say she's "Three fries short of a happy meal!"

She also has another "alter ego" named Louise Jenkins. I'll have to see if I can get some pictures of Louise to post here. Pretty hysterical!

Hair "D"zign Photo Shoot

On Saturday,
I did a photo shoot for my friend Dianna
at Paul Mitchell Salon.

She will soon be graduating from hair school and is creating a brochure for her upcoming business. "D" has been doing my hair recently and I have been extremely happy with the results. Those who know me know that I am very picky about who does my hair because I have very fine hair which is difficult to work with. If anyone is looking for a new hairstylist, NOW is the time to get hooked up with Dianna. She's a little powerhouse and one day very soon,
you may not be able to afford her!!!

HAZMAT Evacuation

On Thursday, February 19th at about 1:00 p.m. over 1,000 employees were evacuated from University of Phoenix where I work. Apparently, someone had sent an envelope to one of the Counselors on the 3rd floor containing a white powder substance with a threatening letter. According to a witness who was near the area where it happened, when the letter was opened, the employee was complaining about breathing problems. The fire department, FBI, Haz-mat & police department were immediately contacted and the entire building was evacuated.

We stayed in the parking lot for about an hour and a half before they finally told us we could leave, but we were not allowed to go back into the building to get our personal belongings. Luckily I had my keys and most of my stuff with me.

Investigators said that the powder doesn't appear to be hazardous, but more testing needed to be done to determine what it was. No further information has been released. We were allowed to return to work the next day, because the Haz-mat crew cleaned up & sterilized the area on the 3rd floor where the substance was found. It was quite an eventful day!

A co-worker took some pictures but I didn't have my camera. I will see if I can get some pics to post on here.

Valentine's

My sweet hubby sent me these gorgeous roses at work. I also had a big bundle of 100 mini roses at home. He also gave me a heart shaped box of chocolates and we went to dinner at The Salt Cellar.

It's so nice to be SO LOVED and so IN LOVE!

Unfortunately, this picture of the big bundle of roses was taken after they started to expire, but I still wanted to capture the idea of them.

Last year, Ke'arah and I made this Valentine's box for her to take to school for their Valentine Party. The kids in her class thought she had "cheated" and bought it already made. They never did believe that we worked on it together and created it ourselves. She loved it so much that she saved it and used it again this Valentine's. It was a fun little project!

The girls' dad, Will came to visit from Vegas for the weekend. They were thrilled to spend time with him, which allowed for Scott and I to spend some alone time together. For those who wonder where the girls get their looks, check out the resemblance! He's been mistaken for John Travolta more than a few times.

What an amazing game!!!

I'm so happy for my hubby! He has always been a die-hard fan. Even through all these rough years of them doing so crappy. He is a firm believer in supporting the home team, so you will often hear him razzing those who live in Arizona, but who cheer for the opposing team.
