...I see I never did go back and post about our trip to Virginia!
In October, our kids had a long weekend from school. So Thursday afternoon, we picked them up after school and headed southwest. We drove to Shenandoah River State Park where we set up camp for the week...it was crazy hot and humid for the time of year! Over the next day the temperature plummeted so it was quite chilly for the rest of the weekend.
Friday we went to Luray Caverns, Luray, VA. We toured the caverns and the various other museums at the same location. We had lunch at Taco Bell. It rained quite a bit in the afternoon. Josiah drove down to join us Friday evening.
Saturday the weather cleared off...it was quite chilly though...and we went to Shenandoah National Park...drove on Skyline Drive and did some hiking.
Sunday we drove back home...It was a lovely weekend away...and Baby did fine as well.
I was going to add a couple of photos...but the kids are watching Chuggington on the Roku so my internet is slow for that sort of thing.
