Thanks! You should be able to find out exactly what your bike is by its serial number, from what I understand, Schwinn collectors have posted all kinds of serial number data bases online. :)

That's what I thought. I'm sure that people who actually restore old bikes go through a lot worse than that to find weird parts, but it certainly was frustrating!
