Pictures of Gabe!

Image I think he looks just like Kael in this picture. I sure make cute kids!
ImageAll my boys!
ImageKael's first time holding his new little brother!
ImageAddison's first time holding Gabe, he was so excited and as you can see Ileigh couldn't wait to get her hands on him!
ImageIleigh's turn at last. She is such a little mother to Gabe!
Image Protective Addison.
ImageSo excited to take Gabe home.
ImageAddison got to sit by Gabe so he could help.
ImageLast night in the NICU!
ImageAll the tubes are out! Now we just needed to get rid of the wires!
ImageMy poor little guy. Hard day today.
Image We came to take Gabe home on this day and then found out he had some dips in his heart rate, they did a chest x-ray and then when I tried to give him his bottle after, he just quit breathing. The nurses were amazing, but poor little Gabe went from ready to come home to square one. It was the scariest moment of my entire life to see my tiny son not breathing, I am forever grateful for those nurses who saved him.
ImageWide awake. So handsome.
Image
ImageThey put him on oxygen and it was amazing to see the difference in him. He started eating more and was more alert. I thought they switched little guys on me! Yeah for O2
ImageThey have a quiet room that you can go into to breastfeed and it never failed, Tim always fell asleep in there!
Image So little. Gabe dropped down to 4lbs 14oz and hung out there for awhile, slowly he went back up to his birth weight.
ImageHe loves his soother!
Image Bath time! This was nurse Dawn showing me how to bath Gabe. I was so nervous the first time I gave him his bath in there, he was so tiny.
ImageFirst day in a crib. He spent the first week in the isolette/incubator.
ImageThis was the first time I got to see him. They kept him under the warmer so they could monitor his breathing. Everyone was so impressed that he was breathing room air and wasn't on the ventilator. That's my boy!!!
ImageTim all dressed in the scrubs, waiting to be taken for surgery.

I have really wanted to sit down and type up Gabe's crazy birth story, but by the end of my busy day I just want to do nothing or go to bed! This will have to do until I can get more energy and time!

The pregnancy was going great and then at 27 weeks I started bleeding. My Dr. gave me the shot to help Gabe's lungs develop and had me go into the hospital every week for non-stress tests. I also began weekly doctor visits. I continued to have spotting but I felt great and baby looked wonderful and was growing, everything looked really good. At about 3:30 am on July 24th, 33 weeks gestation, I woke up to my water breaking! We went into the hospital and the plan was to keep me there on bed rest where I could be monitored and they could keep an I.V. in and try to postpone labor as long as they could. I started having contractions about 10:30 am and then they really started to get intense. They started the pit to try to help get him here quicker because he wasn't handling the contractions, his heart rate was dropping and not going back up where it should and then he started having irregular heart rhythms and my blood pressure got higher and then I got a fever and the Dr. just decided to do an emergency c-section. They had a flight team standing by so that we could be flown to Calgary if needed, but lucky for us baby Gabe came out crying and weighing in at a whopping 5lbs 2oz at 5:36 pm!!! He was doing really good for a while and then started to have a hard time breathing, so they rushed him off to the NICU and there he stayed for the next 24 days!
Gabe is home and doing wonderful and we all just adore him. Heavenly Father has blessed our little family so much and we are so happy to have Gabe here with us!

Our first camping trip!!!!

We went camping this last weekend and had so much fun. The wind was blowing like crazy and it was a little cold, but we had the time of our lives and most importantly our kids loved it and some great memories were made.
We got a spot right next to a dirt pile and the kids made a sandbox out of it. We went fishing and even played at the playground there. It was just an awesome weekend! Our little trailer is old, but in really good shape. I think we are the fourth owners of it. Nothing fancy, but it did the job perfectly!

6 months!

Image
So here we are at 6 months or 24 weeks. I can't seem to ever get that straight by the way. I always figured your went up another month after four weeks, but a few times when I have told someone I am 16 weeks or four months they have corrected me and told me that I am only 3 months along. Whatever!
Anyways, as you can see my rear is keeping up to my belly and my boobs are enormous! I constantly feel immodest due to the fact that I have massive cleavage and can't seem to keep them strapped down. I am a little nervous that my little man hasn't even been born yet, what am I going to look like when my milk does come in? Someone out of a porn show I am sure! I swear I have never been this huge with the other kids!
I have been feeling baby move a ton and I love it. I feel great other than I am tired and with babysitting the cute little guy next door I never get a nap. My siatic nerve is driving me crazy. When I lay the boys down at night to read them a story I feel like crying when it is time to get up, their beds are really firm and it kills my lower back. Anyone else have any problems with their backs and have any suggestions?
We are debating on names, we both like Gabriel but are still unsure if that will be his name. Addison still has his heart set on Spider Man...hopefully this is something he will grow out of because if I have a grandson named Spider Man... oh help me!

T-Ball!

Addison started t-ball this year and has so far loved it! Tim took him to the store and bought him a bat and glove and now Addison is constantly asking to go outside and play catch! Tim also took him to his first practice and then they went out for burgers and ice-cream after! All I can say is that Tim is now the most favorite parent. Addison wrote him a cute letter telling Tim that he loved him so much and he loved going to practice after school and can he take him again.
Tim is also going to be assistant coach and is looking forward to it. Tim was telling me that at Addison's first practice he was so excited and kept asking the coach questions and would tell the coach good job when he caught a ball or did anything. He also cheers the other kids on and tells them good job all the time too. He is so sweet and cute and I think he is the most adorable little t-ball player of all time!

Kael's Birthday!

Image
Image
I am really really late on posting this but better than never right! This was Kael's birthday. I didn't get any good pictures because I filmed the whole thing. He was so excited! Every time anyone told him happy birthday he would reply "Numm, cake!" He is such a fun and happy boy and we all love him so much!

New bunk beds!

So we ended up getting an awesome deal on this new bunk bed for the boys room! They love it, we love it, Ileigh has even taken to sleeping on the top bunk with Addison every night! Instead of a ladder it has stairs and it is awesome!

We are expecting another.....

BOY!!!!!!

We are really excited and a little shocked on my part, I thought for sure this little one was a girl, but I am usually wrong so no big surprise right! I really am excited though, I never would of thought of myself as a mother to so many little boys and it is so exciting! When we went to the ultrasound the tech wasn't allowed to tell us anything, but I should have known right away from the full beautiful lips on this baby, both my boys have full kissable cute lips and then Ileigh girl got the shaft and has really little lips, they are still so cute and she would look really strange with big lips due to the fact that there isn't anything big about Ileigh at all, she is my tiny dainty little princess! Anyways, we are very excited and even more exciting my other sisters are having boys as well! Robin is having a boy/girl twins and then Renae and Regan!!! I am so overjoyed and can't wait to meet this little guy!!

7 Years and counting!!!!

Image
Image
On the wonderful day of this last Monday, the 22nd, Tim and I celebrated our 7th anniversary.
Can I just say that being married to this hunky man is awesome and very rewarding! Tim is really my very best friend and I love him more than I have ever loved anyone ever!
When we started dating I felt like I was dreaming all the time...I couldn't understand that this gorgeous perfect man could like me! Our first kiss was cute, but our second was mind blowing perfect, I was up all night long replaying it over and over in my mind!
When we got married it was so amazing! My dad was able to be our sealer and that in itself was pretty wonderful, but to be able to look across the alter and into Tim's eyes and hear the blessings and promises that were to be ours, there is no other way to explain it but this beautiful euphoric feeling of overwhelming happiness.
Up to this point in our lives together it has been a crazy and wild ride! We have had our disagreements, but really I am glad we have them because it has made Tim and I closer to one another. We have had so many wonderful times and I love getting to be with him. Each one of our children has been such an incredible experience and we love them so much and love learning right along side of them!
Tim is my one and only. Sometimes I think how life would be if I had married someone else and I get knots in my stomach just thinking of a life without him. I always thought that there is never just that one person, your soul mate and that is it, there are a lot of people you could be married to and you just have to make it work....well, I had a few chances to pursue relationships that would have ended up in marriage, but I always felt like I had to hold out for that one guy and when I met Tim, that was it. I strongly believe that Heavenly Father helped us get together and has helped us everyday since to get to where we are now!
Tim is everything to me. I run to the window when he pulls up along with the kids and dogs and scream with excitment that he is home from work each day! I love him with all my heart and will continue to do so forever and through all eternity!
