We are back...

Yes, some of us are still alive...so much has happened since we last posted.

 

 Daddy got really sick with COPD and passed way on April 13th 2018.  Mommy has been so very sad and I have been busy trying to cheer her up. 

 We have traveled to visit family and friends in Virginia, Texas and twice to Germany.  Daddy was born and raised in Germany and my Auntie Andrea lives there.  We spent 3 weeks there this summer. Miz Feldhoff took these two photos of me at a dog show in Germany.

 

 It was quite a trip and we will post more about it soon.

 It was hot there but also hot when we got home, one of the hottest summers I can remember in Anchorage. 

 

 I can't remember if I showed you our new house, we had it built while daddy was still with us. He lived in it for 6 months before he moved on.

 So mom is back to work and I am her Service Dog and go to work (and everywhere else) with her to the various schools everyday!  Most of the kids and staff love me.

 

 Mom and Kirsten took me to the State Fair...I have never been there before and had such a great time. My favorites were the food and the farm animals!!! Here I am with the SHEEP!

 I had my 10th Birthday on April 7th this year and here is my Birthday Photo.

So it is good to be back, so much has happened and I will try to fill in some of it and then we will move on! I've missed you my friends

We wish all our friends and family the important things in life, Love and Good Health.  With those the rest will come. Here's to new beginnings, forget those bad days and nights, bring new hopes and goals in your life in a new year.

 This passing year has brought us much joy and some pain as well.  We will focus on the joy and look forward to the miracles this new year can bring us.

Merry Christmas to all!

Long time no post...We build a new house and downsized this summer, sold the old one, moved, Daddy spent 16 days in hospital in November...it has been a whirlwind!

So lets get you caught up a bit...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are moved in but the garage is full of stuff to go through and get rid of.  Downsizing is a hard thing for mama to do.  As long as she keeps all my stuff things will be good!

I spent 16 days in hospital with daddy but now he is home with us and we could not be happier!

 

 

 

It makes me sad when daddy doesn't feel good.

Summer fun in Alaska

Hard to believe it is August already!   I'm am all healed up and having tons of fun...Making new friends...

 Been back to the lake on a regular basis.  I can't tell you how much I love going there!

 We are having some fresh caught side-stripe shrimp for dinner, I love the tails!

 Cousin Bev left us after a month long visit, she is headed to Washington State for her great grandson's 6th Birthday. We will miss her!

The cabinets are being installed in the new house this week.  Mama could not be more pleased with them!

Daddy's sister is coming from Germany for a visit in a week!!!  Then mama goes back to work mid-August :(    We hope to move into our new house in September.  It has been a busy summer that is for sure!

 Just remember to take time to smell the Moose Poop!

Hello from the HOOD!

Hi Ya All!   Just wanted to give you and update on my recovery from TPLO knee surgery and why we haven't been blogging much lately.

 

My Physical Therapist says I'm doing good and has me on an exercise plan. It has been almost six weeks since my surgery and two more weeks till I can go to the lake and swim!  I can't wait to get back in real water cuz this walking tank is for the birds!

 We have had some nice weather, not enough for Mama but I'm not so picky. 

Here I am out side at 10pm with Pickles and Karma. They like to hunt at dusk. They told me the mice are active this time of night.

Here is Mama's big project.  We visit every day, soon Dad will work on the data wiring and then the drywall goes up!

Mama spent half the day today choosing tile and carpet. She seems pretty pleased with her choices. Things are moving at a fast pace and we hope to move in October.

 

So all in all, things are going well.  Cousin Bev gets here the 28th so she can go to the lake with me!

In August dad's sister is coming again from Germany for a visit.  The summer is zooming by!  Hope yours is wonderful!
